After an incredible Super Wild Card Weekend of playoff action, just eight teams remain as we head into the Divisional Playoffs.
With the home team winning 29/40 games in the divisional round over the past 10 years, will that trend continue this weekend? BetDeluxe previews all four games as each team vies for Super Bowl LVII action on February 12.
Kansas City vs Jacksonville
22nd January 8:30am
The Kansas City Chiefs return to the postseason mentally refreshed, physically healthier, and ready to live up to their $1.21 quote after the No. 1 seeds sat out the first week with the bye.
With the best offense and passing game in the league, it’s easy to see why the 2020 Super Bowl champions have been crunched to (almost) unbackable odds. MVP favourite, Patrick Mahomes, has pieced together another incredible season where he ranks first for touchdowns (41). He’s six ahead of Josh Allen and Joe Burrow in second.
The Jaguars certainly aren’t without hope after pulling off a sensational comeback against the LA Chargers. Trailing by 27 through the second quarter, the Jaguars mounted a massive resurgence on the back of Trevor Lawrence’s four TDs.
Lawrence threw three interceptions in the first quarter as nerves got the better of him, an area the Chiefs will undoubtedly be targeting.
Suggested Bet – Same Game Multi
Leg 1: Chiefs to win
Leg 2: Over 52.5 points
Leg 3: P. Mahomes 3+ passing TDs thrown
Leg 4: E. Engram 55+ receiving yards
Total: $5.25
Philadelphia vs. New York Giants
22nd January 12:15pm
Like Kansas City, the Philadelphia Eagles will be well-rested after finishing the regular season 14-3 and watching Super Wild Card Weekend from home.
They’re currently $1.25 with BetDeluxe thanks to their superior offense, defense and running game. Although nursing a sore shoulder at the end of the regular season, Jalen Hurts entered MVP calculations this season as he led the second-best offense in the NFL.
The Giants will enter with a fistful of confidence after they pulled off a surprise victory over the Minnesota Vikings, 24-31. Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley scored two TDs each as the Giants maintained the scoreboard ascendancy throughout the entire match.
The Eagles swept the Giants in their two meetings this season, including a 16-22 victory two weeks ago.
Suggested Bet – Same Game Multi
Leg 1: Eagles to win
Leg 2: J. Hurts score anytime
Leg 3: S. Barkley score anytime
Leg 4: A.J. Brown over 59.5 receiving yards
Total: $6.75
Buffalo vs. Cincinnati
23rd January 7:00am
The Bengals and Bills are riding incredible winning streaks into their divisional playoff game.
The Bengals made it nine consecutive wins with a 24-17 victory over Baltimore. With scores tied at 17-17 in the fourth, the Bengals set the game alight when Sam Hubbard ran the length of the field and scored a match-winning defensive TD.
Despite Cincinnati’s heroics, the Bills are $1.41 to win this game after they downed the Miami Dolphins 34-31. Josh Allen was highlighted as the key to the Bills’ pre-match, and the star quarterback delivered with three TDs and 352 yards.
The Bills boast an eight-game winning streak and the No. 1 ranked defense, putting them in a solid position to progress.
Suggested Bet: Buffalo to win at $1.41
San Francisco vs. Dallas
23rd January 10:30am
Closing out Divisional Playoff Weekend will be the highly anticipated clash between the Cowboys and 49ers.
Both sides cruised through the first week of the postseason, with the 49ers recording a 41-23 victory over the Seahawks.
The story of the game was rookie quarterback Brock Purdy and his ability to handle the pressure of playoff football. In just his sixth start for the 49ers, Purdy announced himself as a star of the game with four TDs. He took his starting record to 6-0.
Dallas also made light work of it as they held Tampa Bay scoreless in the first half before running out 31-14 winners. They’ll quickly remind the 49ers of the last time they met when the Cowboys etched out a 33-41 win.
Suggested Bet: San Francisco to win at $1.52
