NFL Week 10 Tips & Previews, Friday 11th November

Some big divisional rivalries are reignited this week, with the NFL season set to be shaped by some big match-ups. BetDeluxe scours the form to find the best bets in this week's games.

Some of the best teams in the NFL are set to be challenged in some blockbuster clashes in Week 10.

BetDeluxe looks at four of the week’s key games to find the trends and form ahead of a massive week of football.

Carolina vs. Atlanta

11th November 12:15am

Carolina has the second-worst record in the NFL, and while they showed a glimmer of form after firing coach Matt Rhule and trading away running back Christian McCaffrey, they are still the Panthers.

PJ Walker looks set to hold on to the starting Quarterback role this week despite some indifferent form. If he can find some consistency, he will look to hit up receiver DJ Moore who was instrumental for Carolina last time these teams clashed. Surely he keeps his helmet on in case of any touchdowns to avoid a penalty as he did 11 days earlier.

Carolina has as many issues on D, with Joe Mixon running riot against them just last week. They face a run-heavy Falcons outfit, with Tyler Allgeir set to carry his excellent form over from last week’s loss to the Chargers.

Carolina has shown some sparks recently, but water finds its own level, and the Panthers’ level is well below most at the moment.

Suggested Bet – Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Atlanta win
Leg 2: T. Allgeir to score a touchdown
Leg 3: T. Allgeier to run more than 34.5 yards
Leg 4: DJ Moore over 64.5 receiving yards

Total: $9.50

Buffalo vs. Minnesota

14th November 5:00am

It wasn’t long ago that Buffalo was an unbackable favourite for the Superbowl, with some talking about an undefeated season. It’s a different landscape following last week’s surprise loss to the Jets in the BIlls’ worst performance of the season to date. Two interceptions and no passing touchdowns from Josh Allen showed that he is a mere mortal, and Minnesota will be studying tape of the Jets defense closely to exploit him further.

If he can find Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs early, Allen will be sure to be back to his best.

The Vikings are one of the quiet achievers of the season, winning their last six matches for a 7-1 record. Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson are riffing as well as any QB-receiver combo going around, and all eyes will be on Cousins to see if he can carry his form against one of the best teams in the league.

Suggested Bet: – Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Bills win
Leg 2: Total score over 44.5
Total: $2.63

San Francisco vs. LA Chargers

14th November 12:20pm

LA keeps on keeping on despite a host of issues to manage along the way. The Chargers secured a late victory against Atlanta last week and have the confidence to serve it right up to San Francisco.

Much will hinge on the availability of Keenan Allen, who missed the Falcons game. If he returns, life will be much easier for the banged-up Justin Herbert, while Josh Palmer will relish having a little less attention than he had as WR1 and could get LA away to an early lead.

San Francisco hasn’t been without its issues this season either, but their 4-4 record is misleading for what their chances actually are. Deebo Samuel is a chance to return from injury while having the week off will have given new running back Christian McCaffrey an opportunity to find more rhythm in his new offense. Expect San Francisco to secure its first win over the Chargers in 22 years here.

Suggested Bet: LA Chargers to win first quarter at $2.70

Philadelphia vs. Washington

15th November 12:15Pm

Philadelphia is simply firing on all cylinders this season and sits pretty with an 8-0 record after nine weeks.

The win over Houston last week wasn’t completely dominant, but the main positive probably came with Dallas Goedert stepping up on a quiet night for AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. The Eagles have a wide array of options for Jaylen Hurts to throw to, and they are an almost impossible team to match up on.

Washington’s 4-5 record has them achieving more than many would have predicted, but they still show too many flaws to challenge the serious contenders. A host of errors cost them the chance to upset Minnesota last week, and Tyler Heinicke looks a little shaky under centre.

It’s hard to see them causing too many problems for their NFC East Rivals.

Suggested Bet: Philadelphia win at $1.17
