Rosehill Race 6

#2 coincide

Another week, another novelty race worth six figures.

Not sold on the concept of this race, but I am sure the winning connections will be happy!

Not too much form to dive into here, with the majority of the field having their first or second career start.

Despite the wide barrier, Coincide looks a great chance. The colt looked the winner on debut before being caught late. I expect him to be fitter, second up, and ready to peak. The Gai Waterhouse trained colt will jump to the front and give a good sight.

Summer Loving was an expensive purchase at the Magic Millions. She has had a nice jumpout leading into this event. She can win on debut.

Suggested Bet: Coincide @ $5

Rosehill RACE 7

#12 Sheeza Belter

Great edition of The Hot Danish!

Sheeza Belter looked stiff first up from a spell at Randwick. With her best performances coming on dry surfaces, she comes into winning calculations on the Good 4. Wiliam Pike takes the ride, she is well weighted 53kg, and barrier 6 looks ideal. Hard to beat.

Electric Girl will start favourite after a luckless run in The Invitation. She is racing in great form and can defend her 2021 Hot Danish title on Saturday.

Jamaea will finally get her chance on a dry track. Looks over the odds on the quick backup.

Suggested Bet: Sheeza Belter @ $4.20

Rosehill Race 8

#1 ellsberg

First edition of the Five Diamonds for the five-year-olds. Doesn’t look like the strongest $2 million race on paper.

Hard to go passed Ellsberg, who is chasing a hatrick. His win in The Group 1 Epsom was a beauty, and the form out of that race has stood up time and again. He looks like the class runner, and he can make his own luck from barrier two. The 1800m is a slight concern.

Law Of Indices was ok in The Cox Plate. He finished on the heels of Anamoe, and he looks well placed here, dropping back to 1800m. Barrier 12 isn’t great.

Ayrton finally gets a dry track. He should be fitter for two runs back, and he can peak here. He hit the line nicely last start without threatening.

Sibaaq looks good each-way value on the quick backup.

Suggested Bet: Ellsberg @ $2.50

Rosehill Race 9

#4 I am me

I Am Me can figure here after performing ok in a strong race at Flemington. She has had a positive trial since, and her best runs have been on dry tracks. She also performed well at Scone in a Listed race during the autumn.

Hypothetical just keeps on winning. She has some serious form around some tough and older campaigners. She can win again from an inside draw.

Devils Triangle savaged the line first up. 1100m looks ideal for the daughter of More Than Ready.

Suggested Bet: I Am Me @ $3.50
