A multitude of storylines makes for a fascinating week of EPL action.
Our experts have analysed all the forms for some of English football’s biggest names.
Chelsea vs. Arsenal
6th November 11:00pm
The London derby is easily the match of the day, with in-form Arsenal up against a Chelsea team that has been off the pace of late.
The Gunners are absolutely firing with a 5-0 smashing of Nottingham Forest on the weekend, giving them a two-point buffer at the top of the table.
Arsenal started strongly last week but really hit its straps in the second half when Reiss Nelson came off the bench to score twice. Nelson is one to watch again this week, with Chelsea’s defence allowing too much freedom to its opponents in recent times.
The Blues looked brittle last week and were comprehensively beaten by Brighton in a disappointing homecoming for Graham Potter. Stars Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic looked entirely out of position and may be forced to return to familiar surroundings this week.
But even if Chelsea can rise from the canvass this week, they look set to be smashed back down by their traditional rivals.
Suggested Bet: Arsenal win at $2.65
Manchester City vs. Fulham
6th November 2:00am
With four unbeaten games behind them, Fulham is one of the leading contenders to the traditional powerhouses of English football. They would have been frustrated with a 0-0 draw to Everton last week but looked threatening all game with ten efforts on goal from Aleksander Mitrovic. They’ve been one of the higher-scoring teams in the league this season and will pose a significant threat to City.
The biggest worry for the Sky Blues is the fitness of star striker Erling Haaland who missed the midweek Champions League battle with Sevilla. Haaland has scored 17 times this season, giving him a comfortable lead in the race for the golden boot. If he takes the field this week, as manager Pep Guardiola has hinted, then City looms as a problematic match-up that may be a bit too much for Fulham.
Suggested Bet: Manchester City at $1.11
Aston Villa vs. Manchester Utd
7th November 1:00am
It’s been a tumultuous year for Aston Villa, sacking their manager only to go on and have a 4-0 win followed by a 4-0 loss.
Any momentum gained from the win over Brentford was quickly snuffed out at the hands of a fired-up Newcastle, who did as they pleased last week.
This will be their first game under new manager Unai Emery, and they will have a big challenge hosting Manchester United.
The Reds have had a poor season but haven’t lost any of their past five EPL matches and may be turning their season around. Their win over West Ham last week continued their resurgence, and while some issues remain, they have the critical planks in place, including steel trap reflexes from keeper David De Gea who made several spectacular saves last week.
Suggested Bet: Manchester Utd win at $2
Tottenham vs. Liverpool
7th November 3:30am
Spurs are back on the winner’s list after last week’s 3-2 defeat of Bournemouth and find themselves in the rare position of being six spots ahead of a Liverpool team that cannot find its groove this season. Rodrigo Bentancur capped off a brilliant second-half comeback with a goal in stoppage time for Tottenham, while Ben Davies was one of his team’s best in the win.
Liverpool were devastated to go down to a Leeds United team that hasn’t troubled many opponents this season.
Barring Mo Salah’s excellent performances, the Reds are struggling to find consistency this season, a point noted by manager Jurgen Klopp. They could be ripe for the picking by a rampant Tottenham side.
Suggested Bet: Tottenham win at $3
