Off to The Heath we go for Sir John Monash Stakes Day.
The Punter’s Prince is in fine form after a massive Saturday at headquarters last week saw his best bet Sirius Suspect get the chocolates.
A challenging program at Caulfield lends its hand to the best bet coming in the feature event for the day.

#8 red kite
Red Kite is a progressive staying type from the astute Andrew Bobbin stable.
He was found wanting on a heavy track over 1800 metres, but considering he was not yet rock-hard fit as a racehorse, it was an admirable run.
Brett Prebble goes on, and that piques the interest at long odds.
Suggested Bet: Red Kite each way at $16 the win and $4.6 the place.
Confidence Rating: 6/10

#12 impulsar
There was a lot to like about the first-up win of Impulsar when making his Australian debut.
The former Irish galloper launched a late dash to win an 1800-metre BM-70 at Sandown and can quickly progress to BM-78 grade over 2000 metres at Caulfield.
Drawn to blend into the race from a midfield and will be hard to hold out late in the race.
Suggested Bet: Impulsar win at $3.90
Confidence Rating: 7.5/10
caulfield race 6
#7 sigh
We are having a bet on Sigh based purely on the map position.
With Mrs Chrissie likely to burn across from the wide gate and a heap of speed around her, Sigh gets the perfect tag on the back of the leaders.
Nice turn of foot shown when resuming, and can go on with it.
Suggested Bet: Sigh win at $4.80
Confidence Rating: 8.5/10
caulfield race 7
#12 somerset maugham
He charged through the line from an impossible position at Morphettville last start over the mile.
He finds his way to 1800 metres here, and with Craig Williams booked from an inside gate; he should be in the finish at good odds.
Suggested Bet: Somerset Maugham each way at $7 for the win and $2.50 for the place.
Confidence Rating: 7/10
caulfield race 8
#8 mileva
Mileva has some strong ratings over the Caulfield 1100 metes, which are capable of winning this race.
Have to be taken aback by her strong jump-outs, and she has had one extra jump out over Oxley Road so that she could have the fitness edge.
She will be stalking the leaders and waiting to let down with her sprint in the home straight.
Suggested Bet: Mileva win at $3.80
Confidence Rating: 9.5/10
caulfield race 9
#9 lackeen
Lackeen ran well enough when first-up over 1300 meters to suggest he can make it a winning effort at this campaign’s second run.
His only start on the Melbourne way of going was a win at Flemington last spring, and he is more than good enough to sprint past this lot.
Tough to see him missing a top-three spot, and he represents an excellent each-way flutter with Jye McNeil taking the ride.
Suggested Bet: Lackeen each way at $8.5 the win and $2.75 the place.
Confidence Rating: 7/10
