Bendigo Tips & Previews, Thursday 30th June

Thursday racing at Bendigo sees the Punter's Prince hone in on a returning filly from the Wilde stable has his best bet of the program.

Bendigo hosts Thursday racing with nine events on the program to find the best bets.

The Punter’s Prince has honed in on race two for his best of the day and is in the camp of a Patrick Payne runner ready to peak third-up from a spell.

bendigo race 1

#16 star harmony

She looks to have a come back in better order after her debut run at Sandown behind Va Via.

She jumped out at Cranbourne over 800 metres, pinging to the lead and cruising to the line through heavy going to run fourth.

No concern with the barrier, given she will press forward and try to take luck out of the equation.

Suggested Bet: Star Harmony each way at $7 the win and $2.45 the place.

Confidence Rating: 5.5/10

bendigo race 2

#7 darci's debut

This will likely be short of her best distance, but Darci’s Debut might be the only one to handle the heavy conditions.

She is a Kiwi filly who looks well adept at handling the wet ground off her jump-outs leading in.

Race experience is on her side, and she seems to have returned a nice horse.

Suggested Bet: Darci’s Debut win at $3.10

Confidence Rating: 8.5/10

bendigo race 4

#10 polite applause

Drifted heavily in the betting at her last start, she probably felt the pinch of a tough run only second-up into her preparation.

She will be race-hardened now and presents as one of the better bets on the card.

Stable is going better than ever.

Suggested Bet: Polite Applause win at $3.40

Confidence Rating: 7.5/10

bendigo race 6

#3 unfair dismissal

Unfair Dismissal drops in grade and finds himself well weighted after the claim from Matthew Chadwick.

He handles the soft going quite well and is worth a play at double-figure odds.

Suggested Bet: Unfair Dismissal each way at $14 for the win and $3.80 for the place.

Confidence Rating: 4/10

bendigo race 9

#13 tiara jewel

Ran on strongly behind a brilliant type called Vultan at Mornington over 1200 metres.

Inside barrier, up to 1400 metres and stripping fitter should see this filly run an even better race than she did first-up.

Good odds, and she was a winner second-up last preparation.

Suggested Bet: Tiara Jewel each way at $12 the win and $3.20 the place.

Confidence Rating: 6.5/10
