Round 14 of the AFL Premiership season is here.
Richmond meets Carlton at the MCG for what is set to be a cracker of a clash on Thursday night to get the best bets underway for another big weekend.
richmond vs. carlton
june 16th 7:20pm
Thursday night blockbusters have become accustomed to Richmond and Carlton when they prepare to fight it out for the second time in 2022.
The Blue Baggers got the better of the Tigers in Round 1 this season, and it was their first win against their yellow and black rivals since that famous elimination final in 2013.
But since then, the Blues have had injury after injury, and there has to come a point where the threshold cannot cope.
Caleb Marchbank looked assured as a Jacob Weitering replacement alongside Lewis Young, but he is again sidelined.
Sam Durdin makes his debut, and it will be a baptism of fire for the mid-season recruit who will likely have to deal with Tom Lynch and Jack Riewoldt.
Tigers to get their revenge.

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Richmond head to head
Leg 2: Total points under 155.5

st kilda vs. essendon
june 17th 7:50pm
An injury-ravaged St Kilda gets set for a home game at Marvel Stadium against the struggling Bombers.
The Saints were left defeated and wounded after going down to Brisbane by 21 points.
Essendon, meanwhile, was putridly disappointing in its 150th-anniversary celebration after a meek performance saw it go down by 26 points to Carlton.
No way you could tip Essendon on its current form, but it does play Marvel Stadium half okay.
With the Saints having a few out, they should be able to win, but not by the line.
Suggested Bet: Essendon +23.5 at $1.90
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Essendon +23.5
Leg 2: Total points under 167.5
Leg 3: P. Wright 2+ goals

port adelaide vs. sydney
june 18th 1:45pm
Port Adelaide is back at home when it faces Sydney on Saturday afternoon.
The Swans are fresh off a bye, a big win against Melbourne and will welcome back champion forward Buddy Franklin from suspension.
Sydney is the slight favourite in this game, and understandably so given its higher position on the ladder and more consistent form.
However, the home team can trouble the visitors here and looks the value head to head.
Suggested Bet: Port Adelaide head to head at $2
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Port Adelaide head to head
Leg 2: Total points over 160.5
Leg 3: C. Dixon 3+ goals
Combined odds = $6
west coast vs. geelong
june 18th 4:35pm
Geelong travels to Perth for a date with the embattled West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium.
This should be a ‘gimme’ for the Cats on their way to securing a top-four spot come the end of the year, and they can begin their run with a big win.
West Coast cannot go a yard at the minute, and with Geelong’s squad starting to get healthier by the week, it spells trouble.
Tough to see how this is not a 10-goal margin in favour of the blue and white hoops from the Cattery.
Expect the Tomahawk and Jeremy Cameron to dominate proceedings.
Suggested Bet: Geelong -45.5 at $1.90
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Geelong -45.5
Leg 2: T. Hawkins 2+ goals
Leg 3: J. Cameron 2+ goals
Leg 4: M. Duncan anytime goal
Combined odds = $5.50
gws vs western bulldogs
june 18th 7:25pm
With all the dramas coming into this game for the Western Bulldogs, the focus might be off football when they get ready for battle against GWS.
The Giants battered North Melbourne to the tune of 49 points as Harry Himmelberg had the game of his life.
With Bailey Smith out and the Dogs still dealing with injuries, expect the Giants midfield led by Stephen Coniglio to fire.
The mood around the Giants camp will be much more upbeat, and they can make it two in a row after a solid fortnight of footy.
Suggested Bet: GWS Giants head to head at $1.85
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: GWS head to head
Leg 2: S. Coniglio 30+ disposals
Leg 3: T. Greene 2+ goals
Combined odds = $5
gold coast vs. adelaide
june 19th 3:20pm
Gold Coast and Adelaide lock horns at Metricon Stadium this Sunday to end Round 14 of the season.
A position in the top eight beckons for the Suns if they can knock off the lowly-ranked Crows.
Gold Coast has been one of the more improved teams in the AFL and heads into this game after flogging the Roos by 62 points before the bye.
With Touk Miller, Matt Rowell and David Swallow leading the line, expect a big win for the home side.
Suggested Bet: Gold Coast -28.5 at $1.90
