fremantle vs. hawthorn

june 11th 4:10pm

Fremantle opens the doors to Optus Stadium as it gets set to face an embattled Hawthorn on Saturday evening.

In the last fortnight, the Dockers have surged into premiership contention with big wins over Melbourne and Brisbane.

Hawthorn, however, was sliding down the table and did itself no favours after dropping a close one against Collingwood.

Jack Gunston should be better for the run after returning from an ankle niggle last weekend, so expect a bit more out of him.

However, the Purple Haze just has winners all over the ground.

Justin Longmuir has turned his midfield into an A-grade unit with Andrew Brayshaw leading the line alongside gun recruit Will Brodie.

Dockers in a canter.

Suggested Bet: Fremantle -33.5 at $1.90

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Fremantle -33.5
Leg 2: Total points under 155.5
Leg 3: W. Brodie 25+ disposals
Combined odds = $4.75

brisbane vs. st kilda

june 11th 7:25pm

St Kilda heads over to the fortress The Gabba when it prepares to meet Brisbane on Saturday night.

Both teams will be fighting tooth and nail for a guaranteed double chance come finals time, shaping a genuine finals-like atmosphere.

The Lions will be eager to bounce back off a disappointing loss against Fremantle in Perth last weekend.

Joe Daniher returning from a shoulder injury that kept him out for over a month will be a big boost for a Brisbane forward line that struggled to hit the scoreboard against the Dockers.

St Kilda has its dangerous options up front, with Max King likely to prove a challenging task for Marcus Adams and Harris Andrews.

The edge Brisbane has in this game is in the midfield.

Jack Steele’s absence is yet to be felt, but the Saints have only played Adelaide and spoon-bound North Melbourne while he has been out.

Brisbane should be able to notch up the four points and cover the line.

Suggested Bet: Brisbane -16.5 at $1.90

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Brisbane -16.5
Leg 2: Total points over 175.5
Leg 3: D. McStay 2+ goals
Leg 4: J. Berry 25+ disposals
Combined odds = $23

north melbourne vs. gws

june 12th 3:20pm

In a game that will have no bearing on finals, North Melbourne looks to get its second win when it faces GWS on Sunday afternoon at Marvel Stadium.

It is not exactly a game that will endear punters and neutral football, but the value does centre around the Giants.

North Melbourne is just in a deep hole at the moment.

From top to bottom, the whole club is being questioned, and it is no wonder why given how poor it has been in 2022.

GWS served it up to Brisbane at the Gabba before the bye, and that form, if replicated here, would blow North Melbourne away.

GWS, despite sitting 15th on the table, still has a handful of premium on-ballers who can carve North apart.

Suggested Bet: GWS -34.5 at $1.90

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: GWS G-34.5
Leg 2: J. Kelly 30+ disposals
Leg 3: Total points under 169.5
Combined odds =  $5.50
