After a fruitful day to begin the week, the Punter’s Prince is back to find all the best bets from flat races at Hamilton on Tuesday.
The Prince has honed in on one in the last race he thinks is worth a big whack.
hamilton race 7
#7 bigolino
It is hard to steer away from the momentum of the Patrick Payne stable at the moment.
Bigolino resumed with a solid first-up effort after sitting outside the lead in a 1200-metre BM-64 at Pakenham.
He finds his way back to country grade and goes up in distance to 1400 metres after having a jump out between.
He was asked to do zilch in the jump-out, but it was an excellent tick-over effort to keep the legs going.
Payne loves to utilise the jump-outs between runs to get his horses going.
Looks worth a play.
Suggested Bet: Bigolino win at $4.4
Suggested Exotic: Boxed First Four – 4, 5, 7, 11, 12
hamilton race 8
#10 feargal
Feargal comes back to BM-64 level after competing in the Casterton Cup and Bm-70 level at his last two runs.
The Jan Baker-trained four-year-old gelding performed admirably at his most recent BM-64 run three starts where he ran second only a beaten a narrow margin.
Only goes up half-a-kilo for that effort and draws to get all the favours from barrier two.
Melissa Julius should be able to find an uncontested lead with this race-fit horse and his last-start win was actually at this track back on April 3.
Each-way all day the long price.
Suggested Bet: Feargal each-way at $14 the win and $4.2 the place.
Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 10, 12, 13
hamilton race 9
#16 lily allez
Lily Allez was luckless when resuming.
She suffered the old ‘death-by-inside’ treatment at Werribee over 1000 metres when failing to obtain a clear passage after drawing and jumping from an inside barrier.
Forget she ever ran around in that race.
She gets the golden switch here by drawing an outside barrier, and she will almost certainly have total momentum coming into the home straight.
Hoping she is not too far back as she does possess the finishing burst, if close enough, to win this race.
Suggested Bet: Lily Allez win at $3.60
Suggested Exotic: Quinella 4 & 16
hamilton race 10
#6 bazini
What a vast first-up run from Bazini.
Upon resumption, his effort at BM-58 level over 2200 metres was as strong as an ox in a race that rated 18 lengths above the standard for a race of that nature.
All things equal, his fitness only gets better after that run, which renders him almost unbeatable in this race.
It remains at the same weight of 62.5kgs, which is a big tick in a race with a compressed weight scale.
Harry Coffey should be able to ascertain a midfield run with cover and prove far too good for this lot.
Suggested Bet: Bazini win at $2.35
