brisbane vs. gws

may 28th 1:45pm

After being knocked off down in Tasmania by Hawthorn, a return to the safe house of the Gabba is upon Brisbane when it readies itself to face GWS.

In a shootout against the Hawks, the Lions were defeated, while GWS got its first win under interim coach Mark McVeigh with a significant result against West Coast.

With the pressure off the shoulders of GWS surrounding its coach, a new lease of life seems to have been bestowed upon the club for the time being.

The midfield got its mojo back, and it was goal-kickers galore for the Giants in their third win of the season last week.

While the Lions should find the four points, the Giants can cover the line.

Suggested Bet: GWS Giants +32.5 at $1.90

geelong vs. adelaide

may 28th 1:45pm

Geelong is the $1.10 favourite when it welcomes Adelaide to GMHBA Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Despite being without Patrick Dangerfield, Geelong is a shoo-in to win this contest, with Adelaide unable to hold off St Kilda at Adelaide Oval.

The Crows are a bottom eight team and have nowhere near the class or experience this Geelong team has.

This game has 10-plus goals written all over it.

Suggested Bet: Geelong -40.5 at $1.90

melbourne vs. fremantle

may 28th 4:35pm

Melbourne will keep its incredible unbeaten start to the season intact when it faces Fremantle at the MCG on Saturday.

The reigning premier was given a slight scare by North Melbourne last week but pulled away late to win convincingly, and it looked to barely get out of first gear.

Fremantle, however, has hit a bit of a speed bump, having lost its last two games and has relinquished third sport on the ladder to Carlton.

The wet weather seems to have brought the Dockers undone in the last fortnight, with losses to Gold Coast and Collingwood exposing its inability to get down and dirty in the contest for long enough.

Expect the Dockers to play a much better brand in the drier conditions, but the Demons should have their numbers as they move to 11-0.

Suggested Bet: Fremantle +27.5 at $1.90

west coast vs. western bulldogs

may 28th 7:30pm

The Western Bulldogs will look to get a percentage boost when it faces the struggling West Coast Eagles, sitting a game outside the top eight and needing a win to stay in touch.

A 106-87 win against Gold Coast in Ballarat ensured the Dogs moved to 5-5, while the Eagles were flogged by 52 points against GWS.

To think West Coast would ever $8 on its home deck of Optus Stadium is a bit of a head-scratcher, but here we are.

With so many injuries and COVID being a big pull on the club, the Eagles will need a miracle to get over the line.

Suggested Bet: Western Bulldogs -42.5 at $1.90

gold coast vs. hawthorn

may 28th 7:40pm

It is off to TIO Stadium in Darwin for both Gold Coast and Hawthorn when both teams get ready to unveil AFL In the Northern Territory for Sir Doug Nicholls round in 2022.

The Suns have shown plenty in the last three weeks with big wins over Sydney and Fremantle and pushing Western Bulldogs in Ballarat.

This last month might be a turning point for Gold Coast as a club.

Hawthorn will be no easy beat given how well it played when knocking off Brisbane in Launceston, but the Suns know how to play dewy conditions well.

Gold Coast to get back into the winner’s list.

Suggested Bet: Gold Coast -3.5 at $1.90
