Cranbourne is where the best bets lie ahead of Friday night racing.
The Punter’s Prince has launched into a first starter early on the program and is confident a punter’s pest can finally become a punting friend.

#8 bay thirteen
Matt Laurie unveils his two-year-old filly in the form of Bay Thirteen in the first event.
She is by Deep Field, so she is bred to have good speed in her legs like a horse and she showed that in her jump-outs leading in.
There was plenty to be attracted to at both her Balnarring and Caulfield jump out victories.
She travelled sweetly through both and seemed to win with plenty in hand.
She should map slightly better than her main danger in Waterworld.
Hard to beat if she shows natural progress and fitness improvement from her jumpouts.
Suggested Bet: Bay Thirteen win at $2.30

#3 chart buster
Chart Buster has become a costly commodity for punters throughout his career.
As a 10-start maiden, he has loomed up a few times but failed to find that so far elusive win.
This race looks like the perfect setup for breaking his maiden status.
He has the conditioning and aerobic capacity over most of his rivals at this distance range.
The favourite, Gustmao, has only ever gone to 1200 metres and looks a tad vulnerable.
Chart Buster can sit either in the lead from barrier one or a pair back with cover and the be one to beat.
Suggested Bet: Chart Buster win at $3
Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 1, 3, 5, 6

#6 Too Viennese
I am going for one at long odds here in the form of Too Viennese.
You can put a line through his last run after he was snicked back to last from a wide barrier at this course over 1400 metres.
He still did attack the line quite well and ran home with a solid last 400 metres for BM-64 grade.
A drop down in weight from 60kgs to 57kgs will help his cause, and he gets the addition of winkers for the first time.
That gear change signals an intent to want to get forward from the inside barrier.
If Adam McCabe can find the front and roll along, the $21 on offer might seem a luxury.
Suggested Bet: Too Viennese each way at $21 for the win and $4.8 for the place.
Suggested Exotic: Quinella 1 & 6

#7 beaudacity
Our old mate Michael ‘The Cuz’ Walker will be wanting to get his eye in for his New Zealand cohort in Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young.
Walker will pilot Beaudacity in this 1000-metre scamper and can dictate the race from the lead.
This horse has an excellent early toe, which should be utilised from an inside draw.
All the jumpouts have been over 1000 metres, which suggests he might be wanting a shade further than this 1000-metre assignment first-up, but we know he will be fit enough to win.
Keep an eye on the market late; he will be hard to beat if he remains at this price or firms below $4.
Suggested Bet: Beaudacity win at $4.2
Suggested Exotic: Boxed First Four – 1, 2, 5, 6, 7
