Going away from the odds-on favourite, which looks extremely short at the $1.4, and having an interest in the first starter, She’s Possessed.
She has been given a handful of jump-outs to prepare for her debut, and patience has been the operative word for the four-year-mare.
She showed a stack of improvement at her most recent jump out by winning an 820-meter pipe opener at Wangaratta.
Fitness shouldn’t be an issue, and she can DJ well at each-way odds.
Suggested Bet: She’s Possessed each way $7 for the win and $1.65 for the place.

Found one better than her when rising to 1200 metres for the first time in her career.
This filly had only ever had runs over 1000 metres and will be so much better for the run over the six furlongs.
She will settle on the speed with her running style and should come on anywhere between two to four lengths from that last start effort at Kilmore.
She is hard to beat if she can control the lead in front as predicted.

#5 teamate
As far as sickening beats go, none could get worse than the one Teammate copped the last start.
After being specked at odds over 1400 metres at Cranbourne, he was held up for a run on a track that favours clear running before the home bend.
He flashed home to run second and now finds himself in a suitable enough race to be going one better.
He draws an inside barrier again, but there does not look be as much speed in the race, hopefully allowing him to settle closer and find the run.

She might have only won one start from 30 attempts, but Lake Sententia seems to have finally hit her straps as a racehorse at this level.
She snapped her maiden status two starts and then ran a cracker at BM-70 level, Elskling over 2060 metres.
Rising to just beyond 2800 metres seems like it will be a good scenario for her, given her robust fitness platform.
Expect her to settle no worries than two pairs away from the leaders.
Suggested Bet: Lake Sententia each way at $6.5 for the win and $2.30 for the place.
