The BetDeluxe AFL team breaks down all the best bets from the three remaining fixtures in Round 7.
Collingwood vs. Gold Coast
May 1st 1:10pm
Collingwood is out to keep up the momentum of an ANZAC Day win when it faces Gold Coast at the MCG.
The Pies held on for a big win in front of a packed MCG on Monday, but will be without Brodie Grundy for an extended period after he injured his PCL In the win.
Gold Coast, meanwhile, suffered a heavy defeat in the Q-Clash against Brisbane and will be keen to rebound off a disappointing result.
The Suns will have the advantage in the ruck stocks, and we saw what Jarrod Witts was able to do Carlton when it was without Marc Pittonet in round four.
Casting our minds back to Round 7 in 2021 saw the Suns topple the Pies at the MCG, so the venue will prove no problems for the visitors.
Have a nibble at the Suns.
Suggested Bets: Gold Coast head to head at $2.52
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Gold Coast head to head
Leg 2: T. Miller 30+ disposals
Leg 3: B. Ainsworth 2+ goals
Leg 4: L. Casboult 2+ goals
Combined odds = $11
western bulldogs vs. essendon
may 1st 3:20pm
Two sides trying desperately to keep their seasons alive will face off when the Western Bulldogs meet Essendon at Marvel Stadium.
The Bulldogs have been slammed by injuries in the last few weeks and it has led to a 2-4 start, but they will welcome back important intercept defender Hayden Crozier as well small forward Laitham Vandermeer.
Essendon is in a worse vein of form at the moment and could not reverse its form slump after going down to traditional rival Collingwood on ANZAC Day.
The Bombers did win the last time these teams went head to head against each other, but they are in horrible form at the moment.
Back under the roof, predicting the Doggies will take home the four points.
Suggested Bet: Western Bulldogs -18.5 at $1.90
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Western Bulldogs -18.5
Leg 2: Total points over 170.5
Leg 3: A. Naughton 2+ goals
Leg 4: C. Weightman 2+ goals
Combined odds = $4.75
sydney vs. brisbane
may 1st 4:40pm
We could very well be set for the game of the round, if not the year, when Sydney hosts Brisbane at the SCG on Sunday.
The Swans and Lions sit nestled into the top four holding 5-1 records off impressive round six wins.
Sydney rocketed home to pummel Hawthorn in a final-quarter blitz, while the Lions crushed a hapless Suns team in the Q-Clash by just over 10 goals.
For the Swans, they will have to deal without Patty McCartin who was becoming an important piece of the defensive puzzle under John Longmire, but they get back live-wire small forward Tom Papley.
Sam Reid can come in to take the job of McCartin, but Brisbane has looked very dangerous in the last month.
It will be a battle of the midfields, but the Lions have the tall timber of Joe Daniher and Daniel McStay who can cause damage to a Swans backline lacking a genuine tall defender outside of Reid.
Suggested Bet: Brisbane head to head at $2
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Brisbane head to head
Leg 2: J. Daniher 3+ goals
Leg 3: J. Lyons 25+ disposals
Combined odds = $5
