illawarra hawks vs. sydney kings

april 14th 7:30pm

The Sydney Kings will attempt to keep their incredible winning streak intact when they get set to the face the high-flying Illawarra Hawks on Thursday night.

The Kings made it 12 wins in a row after grinding out a 76-70 win over the New Zealand Breakers.

Jaylen Adams continued to show the league why is one of the best guards after 19 points, six rebounds and five assists.

But the Hawks are going to prove stiff opposition with their current form seeing them good enough for third spot on the NBL table.

Illawarra made a mess of Brisbane over the weekend as it registered a 108-77 win over thanks the heroics of gun centre Duop Reath.

His 28 points and 11 rebounds were accompanied by a big performance Anotnius Cleveland who tallied up 18 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

If there is any team in the league to bring this crazy 12-run unbeaten run to end, it is the Hawks.

Brian Goorjian has his men scoring with freedom and defending like mad men.

The Hawks seem to have figured the right balance between offence and defence.

Suggested Bets: Illawarra Hawks -1.5 at $1.90

perth wildcats vs. adelaide 36ers

april 14th 9:30pm

Looking to put an end to this inconsistent patch of form, the Perth Wiildcats face the Adelaide 36ers on Thursday night after knocking off the Breakers last weekend.

Perth rebounded off a close loss to Melbourne United with a nine-point win over New Zealand to hold down fourth spot in the NBL table, while Adelaide suffered its fourth consecutive defeat after falling to Brisbane on Monday.

The Wildcats did smack the 36ers off the court with a 92-73 beating back on March 6, which saw Vic Law, Bryce Cotton and Todd Blanchfield combined for 71 points.

If Adelaide wants to reverse the result, it will need to somehow put the clamps on that trio, but is it easier said than done on a road trip to Perth.

No reason why the result of March 6 will change.

Wildcats to cover the spread with a leg in the air.

Suggested Bets: Perth Wildcats -12.5 at $2
