illawarra hawks vs. brisbane bullets

march 31st 7:30pm

Four straight wins are on the card for Illawarra Hawks when they take on the Brisbane Bullets at WIN Sports and Entertainment Centres on Thursday night.

The Hawks have put together the best basketball of their season to date with three consecutive victories and stamped themselves on the competition with a thumping win over Melbourne United last Sunday.

Brian Goorjian has his men firing at both ends of the court with a 91-65 win over Tasmania and a 92-77 win over United, highlighting how well balanced this team is at the moment.

Brisbane, meanwhile, suffered a deflating loss against Tasmania.

The 84-82 result meant it remained in seventh spot on the NBL standings, but there is reason to believe it can knock off the Hawks.

Brisbane did the job back in December with a 96-92 win, however, the home court advantage for the Hawks here must be taken into account.

Illawarra is playing irresistible basketball at the moment.

Siding with the home team.

Suggested Bets: Illawarra Hawks -8.5 at $1.98

adelaide 36ers vs. tasmania jackjumpers

april 1st 7:30pm

After coming away from Brisbane with a famous 84-82 victory, the Tasmania JackJumpers will look to continue their climb up the NBL rankings when they face the Adelaide 36ers on Friday night.

It has a been whirlwind of a season for the new team down in the Apple Isle and finals are a real possibility as they sit only two games away from the Hawks in fourth spot.

The 36ers, however, sit well off the pace and, even though they scored a big 100-92 win over South East Melbourne Phoenix last weekend.

Tasmania just has everything to play for at the minute.

Josh Adams has led the charge with his fantastic leadership on the court and he will have fond memories of the January 28 fixture against the 36ers.

Adams buried 24 points on that night and guided his JackJumpers to a 76-71 win.

If that form line is anything to go by, the JackJumpers might just take another step towards a finals berth in their inaugural season.

Suggested Bets: Tasmania JackJumpers head to head at $1.91
