The Meadows Greyhound Tips & Previews, Saturday 26th March

All the best bets, tips and selections you need to be with come the 12-race program under the lights of The Meadows on Saturday night.

Saturday night at The Meadows means our greyhound team has been hard out work finding the best bets on the program.

There is plenty of value littered throughout the program and we begin our night in the first on the card.

The Meadows race 1

#1 runaway miss

This is a cracker of a final race which sees Shepparton form make its way over to The Meadows.

The leader of the pack is Runaway Miss who has been scorching her away around the Shepparton track of late and brings in a slick 24.97 last start win to her name.

She fought on like the smart dog she is when jumping from box eight in that race and she gets a much favourable draw here.

The rise to 525 metres should prove no problems given most of these dogs are getting up to this distance for the first time.

What sets up well for her in this race is her ability to jump cleanly and put in some strong mid-race sectionals.

Think the further this race goes on, the further her margin will increase by.

Massive winning chance and could start odds-on if the market hones in on her time ratings.

Suggested Bet: Runaway Miss win at $2.50

The Meadows race 3

#4 fernando's quest

Returning to The Meadows is what should spark Fernando’s Quest back into winning form.

He is a dog armed with scintillating speed when given free air to stride and he should be able to get find the front early on in this race.

His personal best time of 34.24 at this course and distance could easily be under threat should he find the lead with ease.

Running anywhere that time would blow this field away and he looks to ready to win.

Suggested Bet: Fernando’s Quest win at $2.40

Suggested Exotic: Exacta 4 & 2

the meadows race 8

#1 keep it black

Keep It Black dons the red dug and can come up trumps from a favourable draw.

He does his best racing when jumping from the inside box and scored a gritty win when hunting down the leading pack at Sandown to win by a narrow margin over 515 metres from box one.

His record from the cherry reds six wins and six placings from 14 starts.

He will just need an ounce of luck to get the clear running he needs to be winning this event.

Suggested Bet: Keep It Black win at $4.60

Suggested Exotic: Boxed First Four – 1, 2, 4, 6

the meadows race 11

#6 panda mick

Panda Mick strikes a very winnable race as she gains confidence back after a nasty fall a few starts back.

She has started a $3.3 and $4.4 favourite in her last two runs, but has not had much luck.

What bodes well for her here is the dogs drawn to hear immediate inside and outside do not have amazing early speed, so she should be able to get clear running space when the lids open.

More than capable of finding the front early and holding on for a win.

We get the each-way price.

Suggested Bet: Panda Mick each-way at $7 the win and $2.05 the place.

Suggested Exotic: Quinella 1 & 6
