Charlotte and New Orleans meet for the second and final time in the regular season when they go head to head at Spectrum Center on Tuesday morning.
It was the Hornets who won the first clash back on March 12 with an offensive masterclass, which saw the scores finish 142-120.
Miles Bridges has proved a handful for the Pelicans to deal with and he came up against Dallas on Sunday with 23 points and eight rebounds as the Hornets moved to 36-35 in a bid to lockdown a play-in or playoff spot.
The Pelicans are in a very similar boat to the Hornets with regards to their post-season status as big wins over the Spurs and Hawks put them in a plum spot to lock in a play-in spot.
However, being without Brandon Ingram in this fixture could prove tough, given how strong the Hornets are offensively.
New Orleans have been a bit and miss on defensive this season, so all players on court will need to have their heads on a swivel in order to combat this scary Hornets offence which averages the second best points per game in the league.
With how well the Hornets are going, they look to have turned the corner on a form slump and we have to side with them.
Suggested Bet: Charlotte -6.5 at $1.92

Having passed Karl Malone to sit number two on the NBA’s scoring list, LeBron James will attempt to lead to the Los Angeles Lakers to victory against Cleveland on Tuesday morning.
The Lakers will bring to an end a four-game road trip which has seen them drop games to Minnesota and Washington, and defeat Toronto in between.
This match marks the second of two between the Lakers and Cavaliers this season with the Lakers taking out the first contest 113-101.
That win was at the beginning of the season and, since then, it has been rough sailing for the Lakers as they battle injuries and horrible form on the road.
Missing Anthony Davis has done the Lakers already wobbly defence no favours and Cleveland has been quite reliable at home this season.
With a winning record of 20-13 against the spread for Cleveland on its home deck, it is trend we want to be with.
Suggested Bet: Cleveland -5.5 at $1.90

Utah Jazz has no time to waste as it prepares itself for a back-to-back against Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on Tuesday morning after knocking off New York.
Moving to 45-26 held the Jazz down in fourth spot of the Western Conference, while Brooklyn did its best to lock in a playoff spot with a 128-123 win over Portland on Saturday.
Kevin Durant has slowly worked his way back into form after recovering from injury as he slammed home 38 points in the five-point victory.
Seth Curry has proven a handy pick in the absence of Kyrie Irving during these home fixtures and he will have an important role going head to head with the likes of Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell.
With a rest advantage over the Jazz, it is the Nets to cover the spread as -1.5 favourites which looks the bet.
Suggested Bet: Brooklyn Nets -1.5 at $1.93

Washington is on the hunt to keep up its winning momentum when it travels down South for a clash against Houston.
The Wizards brought a six-game losing streak to an end when toppling a hapless Lakers outfit on Sunday, while the Rockets found the going incredible tough against a rampant Memphis Grizzlies.
Houston’s losing was compounded with a 122-98 loss against the Grizzlies and the losing looks set to continue having to play back-to-back games.
Playing with no rest is something the Rockets have not been able to deal with too well this season.
Houston has gone 2-8 covering the spread on a back-to-back and, given how well the Wizards’ offence fired against the Lakers, that record looks only likely to worsen here.
Expect Kristaps Porzingis to dominate inside the paint and the boards as the Wizards chase down that play-in spot.
Suggested Bet: Washington -4.5 at $1.89
