st kilda vs. collingwood
march 18th 7:50pm
After disappointing 2021 seasons, St Kilda and Collingwood look to start off 2022 with a win when they meet under the roof of Marvel Stadium.
Collingwood has had a fairly interrupted lead into this match with a Brayden Maynard missing due to suspension, while Will Hoskin-Elliot is out due to COVID protocols.
The Saints definitely showed the better form in the pre-season with a strong win against Essendon in which Jade Gresham shined.
The return of nuggety midfielder-forward will be a welcomed inclusion for the Saints who look to have the advantage in this contest.
Suggested Bets: St Kilda -7.5 at $1.90
st kilda vs. collingwood
total points scored under 159.5
Collingwood looked to lack a real sense of goal nous in its loss to GWS in the AAMI Community Series.
The only genuine key forward it will have is Mason Cox and he is not exactly known for his ability to hit the scoreboard hard.
St Kilda, too, lacked firepower in its win over the Bombers.
Outside of Max King and potentially Dan Butler, there does not look to be a heap of options on the scoring front of the Saints either, unless someone like Jade Gresham stands up.
This has the makings of a low-scoring contest.
Suggested Bets: Total points scored under 159.5 at $1.87
st kilda vs. collingwood
same game multi
Going to take a same game multi which really revolves around the Saints.
We are confident they are going to win and should be able to hold Collingwood at arms length.
Max King to kick two or more is the way to go and the Saints to lead at half time and full time is also a kicker for the odds.
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: St Kilda -7.5
Leg 2: Total points scored under 159.5
Leg 3: M. King 2 or more goals
Leg 4: Saints/Saints halftime/fulltime double
Combined odds = $5.5
