Saturday night at The Meadows means our greyhound team has been hard out work finding the best bets on the program.
There is plenty of value littered throughout the program and we begin our night in the first on the card.
The Meadows race 2
#1 night patrol
Keep a watchful eye out on the betting of Night Patrol.
He looks as though he has been set for this race since his effort at Healesville earlier this week.
That Healesville race up the straight over 300 metres looked as though it was a tick-over run for this event.
It was a distance will short of his best and he was hitting the line well enough late in the race to suggest he can run a big one here.
His win three starts back at Sandown was a 30.01 victory over the 515 metres and he can back with a short gap between runs.
Could be back to his best given the quick back up, which tells us he is going well back at his kennels.
Suggested Bet: Night Patrol each-way at $6 the win and $2.60 the place.

The Meadows race 5
#1 gracie bale
She is going to need some fortune from the inside draw, but Gracie Bale is armed with an explosive mid-race burst than can blow this field away.
She has done her racing over the 600-metre circuit at The Meadows in her last two starts and drops back to 515 metres for this event.
There does not look to be a heap of early speed in the race either and it should mean she can hold her spot on the rail and stop the dogs outside of her from crossing.
With a clear run to the first turn, they will not be catching her.
Suggested Bet: Gracie Bale win at $2.70
The Meadows race 6
#2 handsome rhino
Handsome Rhino landed a big market push for him last start when scooting away to win at The Meadows over 600 metres.
He was an unknown commodity at that distance range given his only start at 600 metres prior was a failure.
He has furnished into a strong middle-distance chaser now and can go on with his winning ways here.
The main danger will be Collinda Patty, but her form at the track is nothing to write home about.
Think the market will hone in on the sharp 34.35 track and distance win of Handsome Rhino.
A repeat of that effort sees him hard to run down.

#8 hadouken
Equalizer is clearly the best dog in the race, however, he is resuming after spending 212 days away from the races.
Prefer to be with a dog who has race fitness and that dog is Hadouken.
Drawing a wide looks like it will cause no trouble for him given he has the early pace to dash across the field and the find rail into the first bend.
He actually ran personal best time here two starts ago which was a slick 29.94 victory when took over in the early to middle stages and scorched away for a comfortable win.
Hoping he can do the same here!
