NBA Tips & Previews, Friday 11th March

The Friday BetDeluxe NBA preview is headlined by the Philadelphia 76ers taking on the Brooklyn Nets at the Wells Fargo Center.

There might only be two games for the Friday NBA preview, but they are going to be quality with the 76ers and Nets meeting each other, while the Nuggets take on the Warriors.

The best bets for both games are in as we head towards at big weekend of NBA theatre.

Brooklyn will be banking on the white-hot form of Kyrie Irving when he and his Brooklyn Nets travel to the Wells Fargo Center for a clash agains the high-rising 76ers.

Irving went next level with 50 points in Brooklyn’s 132-121 win over Charlotte and helped move his squad closer to locking away a guaranteed playoffs berth.

It has been an inconsistent year for the Nets given a plight of injuries and uncontrollable circumstances surroundings their star players, whereas the 76ers have been building and look set to peak at the right time.

Joel Embiid and James Harden have combined brilliantly since the former Brooklyn guard moved to Philly.

Harden faces his first game against his former club and it will definitely add a bit of spice to this already hot contest.

Harden could very well be the final piece of the NBA championship jigsaw the 76ers are looking to put together, but they will first have to get through a Brooklyn team full of match winners.

The Nets have had the better of Philly so far this season, with a 2-1 record, but it was the 76ers who won the most recent clash.

With Harden adding another match-winning layer to this already freakishly good Philly squad, the home team looks likely to prevail here.

Suggested Bet: Philadelphia 76ers -4.5 at $1.91

The Golden State Warriors will look to extract revenge when they face the Denver Nuggets on Friday afternoon at Ball Arena.

The Warriors were left defeated on March 8 by a rampant Nuggets team led by MVP contender Nikola Jokic who, yet again, posted another triple double.

But Golden State was without a host of superstars including Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Anthony Wiggins.

That trio will be fronting up for this game after they all returned to lead the Warriors to an emphatic 112-97 thumping of the Clippers.

The Warriors have been deemed the -1.5 favourites for this game despite staring down the barrel of a four-game season sweep at the hands of Denver.

Golden State seemed to hold up well in the loss to Denver without its stars and the timely inclusions have us swaying its way.

Warriors to cover the spread.

Suggested Bet: Golden State Warriors -1.5 at $1.91
