The Detroit Pistons (15-46) will be going for their second consecutive win when they face the Washington Wizards (27-33) on Wednesday.

The Pistons are coming off a 127-126 win over Charlotte as 10.5-point underdogs, while the Wizards are coming off a 92-86 loss to Cleveland as 8.5-point underdogs.

Detroit is looking for its fourth win in five games, which is a feat many thought impossible given the plight of its season thus far.

The form of Saddiq Bey, Jerami Grant and Kelly Olynyk will have the Pistons up and about for this clash.

Bey led the way for the Pistons with 28 points and eight rebounds in the win over Charlotte, while Grant finished with 26 points and four rebounds and Olynyk added 20 points and eight rebounds.

Washington has seen Kyle Kuzma step up in the absence of Bradley Beal, but it has not been enough to guide the Wizards closer to playoffs.

They still are favoured to win this game as the $1.52 elect, but there is some conjecture about their form.

The Pistons have their mojo back, and, even though they have struggled defensively, they will do enough to slow down the Wizards and cover the spread.

Suggested Bet: Detroit Pistons +4.5 at $1.90

atlanta @ boston

march 2nd 11:30am

After being humbled by Indiana on Monday, the Boston Celtics will try to rebound with a win over the Atlanta Hawks at TD Garden on Wednesday.

The Celtics were no match for a rampant Pacers outfit in the 128-107 loss, but the beginning of a three-game home stretch with a day break should have Ime Udoka’s men well refreshed for this important.

Atlanta, meanwhile, enters this clash after tearing apart Toronto 127-100 thanks to a masterful performance from Trae Young.

Young will his this game after dropping 41 points on the Raptors.

The key to quelling the Hawks, will obviously be limiting the influence of Young.

Atlanta has a 2-1 record over Boston in the season series thus far and has actually defeated the Celtics at TD Garden in those two wins.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will, as usual, set the barometer for the Celtics, but there is every chance the Hawks can replicate what they have already done at TD Garden this season.

Backing the visitors to cover the spread.

Suggested Bet: Atlanta Hawks +5.5 at $1.90

clippers @ houston

march 2nd 12:00pm

For the second time in three days, the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston will go head to head.

It was the Clippers who came away with a pulsating 99-98 win over the Rockets on Monday after trailing at the end of the third period.

The Clippers are coming into this game as the eighth seed in the Western Conference and will be desperate to secure this win to try and stay in the running for the play-in tournament.

Houston, however, only has the motivation of pride and developing for the future with playoffs being out of picture.

The Clippers will be relying on their leading point-scorer in Reggie Jackson to provide the spark in offence.

The Rockets are allowing the 30th most points in the NBA and have a tough to time trying to stop Jackson and the backups for a consecutive match.

The Rockets also struggle to score the ball and the Clippers are allowing the 10th least amount points per game in the NBA.

They have enough defensive talent to slow this Rocket’s offense down and with Jackson firing away, this should be a road victory plus a spread cover for the Clippers.

Suggested Bet: LA Clippers -6.5 at $1.90

golden state @ minnesota

march 2nd 12:00pm

The Golden State Warriors will attempt to bounce back from a loss when visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday afternoon.

Golden State has planted itself in second spot of the Western Conference at 43-18 and six games behind the first-place Phoenix Suns.

The Warriors were left to rue a 107-101 loss against Dallas after squandering a 19-point lead.

Stephen Curry was the leading scorer for the Warriors with 27 points, but he has been far from his absolute best, which has seen the Suns bolt clear with top spot in the West.

Minnesota, meanwhile, hits this game with no rest after scoring a 127-122 win over Cleveland.

D’Angelo Russell continued this purple patch of form with 25 points as he partnered up with gun shooting centre Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Timberwolves have been very strong against the spread of late with 4-2 record in the last six fixtures at home.

Golden State will be without its defensive champion Draymond Green and have also missed Klay Thompson to illness.

There is a slight chance Thompson could return for this clash, but the Timberwolves have all the momentum coming into this one.

Suggested Bet: Minnesota Timberwolves head to head at $1.90
