Black Spartacus has a distinct edge over this field with his booming late closing speed being a massive asset.
He was a commanding winner of his maiden race last start after scorching to the front from a wide box and winning by nearly seven lengths.
He draws wide again here and that suits him perfectly given he takes a few strides to wind up his revs.
Racing on the four-day back-up gives him the competitive advantage over the favourite Fearless Max who is racing with a month between runs.
Expect him to start well-backed commodity and he could very well overtake Fearless Max as favourite.

#4 tiger time
Tiger Time is the one to be with here.
He can bounce back from his last start defeat at Sandown over 515 metres with this race looking to shape nicely for him.
There is not too much speed either side of him, so it should make the squeeze box easy to deal with as he attempts to clear out early in the race.
This is definitely a drop down in grade for him and he is armed with a sharp sprint capable of winning this race easily.
His time of 29.78 when he finished runner-up behind Speak Up at this course and distance two starts back would smash this field.
Hoping he can replicate a similar run here.

#3 invictus jaxson
Going with Invictus Jaxson who is armed with a powerful sprint.
The Kayla Cottrell-trained chaser has a very sharp personal best at this track and distance run in a time of 34.88 dating back to January 1.
A run like that would obliterate this field and he certainly capable of producing it with a bit of luck from box three.
If he can jump on terms and find clear running to the first bend, keep an eye on the clock.
He was unsuited by dropping back in distance to 515 metres last start but it was a fantastic building block to build his residual fitness.

#6 flaming rush
Flaming Rush comes out a much stronger heat race than what she faces in this event at Sandown.
She ran fifth in the Fanta Bale Super Stayers Heat at The Meadows last start after pinging to the front and being run down in the last 50 metres.
That run is going to do her the world of good as she builds towards getting stronger over these distances.
She has three wins for four starts at this distance and was just simply outclassed last weekend.
Expecting her to control the front here and be hard to run down.
