Super Bowl LVI Prop & Exotic Bets

Our experts take a deep into the prop bet and exotic betting markets for Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.

From what colour the Gatorade shower will be on the winning coach of the Super Bowl to how many points will be scored in the match.

The BetDeluxe NFL experts have you covered for all the prop and exotic bets you need to be on come kick-off time.

Total points

under 48.5

The over/under total actually dropped by a point despite the fact that the Rams and Bengals have averaged 28 and 24 points per game this postseason respectively.

First, the Bengals figure to struggle with the Rams’ pass rush.

They allowed Burrow to be sacked nine times against the Titans and scored just 19 points in that game as a result.

They could similarly be held in check here.

Additionally, the Rams have scored just 30 points over their last six quarters of postseason action after scoring 54 in their first six.

Stafford had some rocky moments against the 49ers, so if those carry over into this game, that could slow the Rams down.

That’s enough for us to strongly consider the under here.

Suggested Bet: Total score under 48.5 at $1.91

First touchdown scorer

cooper kupp

There are heaps of scoring options for both teams in this game.

Cooper Kupp looks the likely hit the scoreboard early with Matt Stafford all but certain to use his slingshot arm.

While both teams do have options on the ground, the aerial threat is where the Rams have the edge.

Stafford is prone to throwing picks, but that does not stop him from trying to find his way through opposition defence with his throwing more often than not.

The star wideout emerged as a remarkable triple crown winner this season by leading the league in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

Needless to say, Kupp can and will catch the ball.

Suggested Bet: Cooper Kupp first touchdown scorer at $5

first gatorade colour dunked on winning coach

blue

Since Super Bowl XXXV, the gatorade shower for the winning coach has been tracked with great verve.

Many punters and NFL fans alike will be keeping a keen eye on the post-match celebrations.

In particular, what colour gatorade will be plunged onto the one of either Sean McVay or Zac Taylor.

Since Super Bowl XXXV, we have seen 5 for orange, four for clear/water, three for yellow, three for blue, two for purple.

On four occasions there has been no shower for the winning coach with Bill Belichick being the main instigator avoiding it three times, when his New England Patriots scored last-score wins on field goals against the Rams and Panthers and again in the Patriots’ overtime win over the Falcons.

We are going to pick blue for this year’s Super Bowl.

With the Los Angeles Rams favoured to win, the colour of their guernsey is predominately blue, so that may very well be the colour that gets doused on McVay!

Suggested Bet: First Gatorade dunked on winning coach = Blue at $3

length of national anthem

Under 105.5

Mickey Guyton will be the fourth country singer in the last 13 years to perform the national anthem before the Super Bowl.

Guyton has previously sung the Star-Spangled Banner at the National Memorial Day Concert last May and the 2015 Country Radio Seminar in Nashville.

Both of those performances came in at under 90 seconds, which gives us some sort of guide.

This is the lowest over/under margin that has been set with bookies for any national anthem length in the Super Bowl.

There’s very little precedent for a total this low, but past results give us an idea of what to expect.

In the last 15 years, eight solo artists have closed with a total of two minutes or less (excluding last year’s duet).

Suggested Bet: Under 105.5 at $1.80

eminem first song

the real slim shady

If we have a look at the trailer for the half-time show, there is a clear reference to Eminem’s ‘Slim Shady’ persona.

An artist and rapper like himself, would want to go off with a bang and we think the last thing will be “Lose Yourself” which is the one that will have the crowd pumping for the end of the set.

Eminem is still absolutely enormous, but with new young eyes on the television, he might just very well want them to know exactly who he is – The Real Slim Shady!

Suggested Bet: The Real Slim Shady at $3.50
