NBA Tips & Previews, Thursday 10th February

The BetDeluxe NBA experts are on the ball with the four-game preview ahead of Thursday NBA across both conferences.

The BetDeluxe NBA preview is all guns blazing as we head into Thursday basketball fixtures from the USA.

Cleveland and San Antonio get the ball rolling with the best bets.

San antonio @ cleveland

The first cab off the rank for Thursday comes when Cleveland welcomes San Antonio to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Thursday morning.

Having bounced back strongly from a shock loss to Houston, the Cavaliers have sweetly positioned themselves for big postseason if they can keep up the winning momentum.

Sitting at 33-21 has them only two games away from top spot in the East, while the Spurs have pretty much put the white flag despite belting the hapless Rockets.

Even without Darius Garland, the Cavaliers have managed to stay well inside the top five of the East and a fixture at home against the Spurs should spell three wins in a row.

Suggested Bet: Cleveland -6.5 at $1.91

All Australian eyes will be on Josh Giddey when his Oklahoma City Thunder face a seriously in-form Toronto Raptors at Chase Center.

Giddey has taken the NBA by storm and could very well on track for the Rookie-of-the-Year award after a fine performance in the loss against Golden State Warriors most recently.

From a head to head perspective, it is hard to be against the Raptors in this game given their brilliant run of it.

The Raptors easily accounted for Charlotte 116-101 on Tuesday as all their starters caused plenty of havoc.

Oklahoma did show enough against the Warriors to suggest it could be pesky to get past here.

Definitely predicting a Raptors win, but the Thunder can make this tricky for the visitors.

Suggested Bet: Oklahoma City Thunder +9.5 at $1.91

la lakers @ portland

february 10th 2:00pm

The Los Angeles Lakers will have no time to dwell over being outclassed by Milwaukee on Wednesday when it prepares to face the Trail Blazers.

The Lakers had no answer for Giannis Antetokounmpo and will need to get more out of Lebron James and Anthony Davis in this contest.

That being said, we should get a lift from those two given how poor the opposition is.

Portland has effectively pulled the curtains on its season after trading away mid-range beast CJ McCollum.

The Trail Blazers just simply do not have enough scoring power or defensive traits to keep this Lakers team from tallying up a big win.

It would be a massive surprise if the upset occurred here given how poor Portland was in its 113-95 loss against Orlando.

Suggested Bet: LA Lakers -8.5 a5 $1.90

golden state @ utah

february 10th 2:00pm

Two of the best teams in the Western Conference go to battle when Utah Jazz takes on the Golden State Warriors.

Following a turbulent period during a couple of weeks in January, the Warriors returned to winning ways and have recorded nine consecutive wins to hold down second spot in th West.

Steve Kerr’s side beat Oklahoma City on the road in the most recent game, while Utah responded to a five-game losing skid with three wins in a row, all three at home.

This will be Utah’s fourth of a six-game homestand.

But Golden State holds a 2-0 record against the Jazz this season as we enter this third encounter between the teams.

Donovan Mitchell coming back into the fray might just be the very player the Jazz need in order to combat a Warriors sweep.

There is also the possibility Ruby Gobert could make a return and that would make it tough going for the Warriors.

Suggested Bet: Utah Jazz -2.5 at $1.91
