cleveland @ Charlotte

Highly doubt Cleveland would have though it would be coming into this game against Charlotte at Spectrum Center with a loss next to its name.

The Cavaliers dropped what should have been a rudimentary win against Houston on Thursday and have to butter it up against a much better team in the Hornets.

Charlotte has dropped its last two, but a took a big step to getting back into winning ways after pushing Boston at TD Garden despite falling 113-107.

LaMelo Ball went for a career-high 38 points in the loss and he is only trending up as this point in time.

The Hornets are the highest-scoring team this season with more than 114 points per game.

if they score that much against the Cavs, it should spell a rebound victory in front of their home fans.

Suggested Bet: Charlotte Hornets -4.5 at $1.91

atlanta @ toronto

Atlanta hits the road after a big win against Phoenix when it faces the Toronto Raptors in front of an empty ScotiaBank Arena on Saturday in what is the second clash between these teams in a week.

The Hawks answered every question asked of them by the Suns in what was ultimately a 124-115 victory courtesy of some ice-cold Trae Young field-goal shooting.

Young launched 43 points in the win and carries momentum into this road trip.

Toronto, meanwhile, blew a late lead against Chicago, but fortunately salvaged a win in overtime with a 127-120 result ensuring it moved to 27-23 for the season.

Prior to those results, both teams went head to head in Atlanta and it was the Raptors who proved victorious as Grant Trent Junior and Pascal Siakim were too hot to handle in the 106-100 win.

The Raptors deserve to be the slight favourites here even though the Hawks knocked off the Suns who were coming off no rest.

Backing the home team to deliver the chocolates for us.

Suggested Bet: Toronto Raptors head to head at $1.80

brooklyn @ utah

february 5th 1:00pm

The Brooklyn Nets and Utah Jazz are set to collide in an inter-conference showdown from Vivint Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The Nets’ issues continued in a road loss to the struggling Sacramento Kings last time out, while Utah was able to collect a home win over the Nuggets on Thursday.

The win for Utah meant it slashed a five-game losing streak, but there have been excuses for the team from Salt Lake City.

Injuries and COVID interruptions have cursed their season despite sitting fourth in the Western Conference with a 31-21 record.

Make no doubt about it, Utah is one of the best in the NBA when healthy, but its defence has been on struggle street in recent fixtures.

The Jazz will play this game without stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.

Gobert, in particular, is a massive out given he is arguably the best rebounder in the league and he, alongside Mitchell, usually set the tone for the Jazz.

Yes, Brooklyn might continue to play without Kevin Durant who is battling his way back from injury, but they have stars James Harden and Kyrie Irving in the lineup.

Suggested Bet: Brooklyn Nets +5.5 at $1.91

The Philadelphia 76ers look to bounce back from a loss when visiting the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

Philadelphia was defeated by the Washington Wizards 106-103 on despite Joel Embiid’s 27 points and a team-high 14 rebounds.

The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Philadelphia, but it still remains first in the Atlantic division with a two-game lead over the second-place Brooklyn and remains in third place of the Eastern Conference as it looks to hunt down the Heat and the Bulls above it.

Dallas is doing some chasing of its own as well and needs to snap a two-game losing streak.

The unhealthy reliance the Mavericks have on Luka Doncic reared its ugly head in what was frustrating loss to Oklahoma on Thursday.

Doncic went for 40 points, but it was not enough to bring winning form into this clash as his team went down 120-114 in overtime.

Even though Dallas remain at home, the 76ers record on the road in recent times has been exemplary.

Philadelphia has won eight of its last nine straight up on the road and is 6-3 ATS over those nine games.

Suggested Bet: Philadelphia 76ers +1 at $1.89
