Three big fixtures land in the A-League this weekend as the best bets and preview from BetDeluxe commence when Brisbane takes on Western Sydney.

All the best bets ahead of tomorrow’s A-League fixtures for BetDeluxe.

We get the weekend’s A-League action underway with a big clash between Brisbane and Western Sydney.

Brisbane Roar vs. Western Sydney Wanderers

january 29th 7:45pm

It is a bottom-of-the-table clash when last-place Brisbane Roar meets 10th place Western Sydney on Saturday night.

In what has been a horror show of a season to date for Brisbane, it gets the chance to somehow rectify its slow start with a game in front of its home fans.

A 3-1 defeat against Adelaide United last weekend left a sour taste in the mouth of the Roar faithful and the Wanderers are not going to prove easy beats despite having only won a single game like their Roar counterparts.

Western Sydney pushed Melbourne City all the way in a 3-3 draw back on January 9 to prove it can match it with the best in the league on the right day.

The problem for the Wanderers is their poor away record.

They have failed to win a game on the road this season, but there some sign of improvement against City at AAMI Park.

Defensively is where the Wanderers need to tighten up if they are a chance at winning this contest.

Get the feeling both sides will tentatively approach this contest and we might be in for a low-scoring affair.

Prediction: Brisbane 0 Western Sydney Wanderers 0

Suggested bets: Total goals scored under 1.5 at $3.79

western united vs. melbourne city

january 29th 7:45pm

Revenge will be on the mind of Melbourne City when it prepares for the local derby against Western Untied at AAMI Park on Saturday night.

John Aloisi’s men left Patrick Kisnorbo with a headache after accounting for him and his talent-laden City squad with a 1-0 win back on December 4 last year.

Since then, both teams have remained in solid form, inside the top four of the A-League table and considered genuine championship hopes in what has been a season plagued with fixture changes and player omissions galore.

Melbourne City did start the odds-on favourite last time these teams played and that has to be respected, but so does the win of Western United.

Prediction: Western United 1 Melbourne City 1

Suggested bets:
Draw at $3.5

sydney fc vs. central coast mariners

january 30th 4:05pm

After pinching a draw in the dying moment of the Big Blue, Sydney FC return home to face the Central Coast Mariners at Leichardt Oval on Sunday afternoon.

The Sky Blues equalised on two occasion in the 2-2 draw against Melbourne Victory on Tuesday in a performance that showed some resolve about their squad which has put in some questionable efforts this season.

Central Coast, meanwhile, is licking its wounds after a 3-1 loss to Melbourne City last Sunday.

The Mariners have put together an inconsistent start to the season, but have usually bounced back strongly after a loss.

Another game that is tough to tip, but the Mariners do look the value as underdogs having already knocked off the Sky Blues earlier this season.

Prediction: Sydney FC 1 Central Coast Mariners 2

Suggested bets:
Central Coast Mariners head to head at $3.90
