Tuesday racing from Kilmore greet us as the BetDeluxe team goes through all the best bets.
A three-year-old filly is set to break her maiden status in race one, while there looks to be a some value on the back end of the program.
kilmore Race 1
#9 defrosted
Jumped out really nicely heading into this resuming run for Graeme Begg.
She was not asked to do much early in both of her Cranbourne jump outs but extended nicely through the line when she was clicked up later in her work.
Her late sectionals were solid and she can make a winning return to the races.
Soft barrier and dropping back to country grade enhance her winning credentials.
Suggested Bet: Defrosted win at $3.5
kilmore race 3
#11 shoal bay
This should surely be the day Shoal Bay wins the first race of his career.
She has continued to find a handful of horses just slightly better than her in maiden grade to date, but this race looks to set up nicely for her.
She is now rock-hard fit and has had the run over the mile now to get her peaking for this race.
Blaike McDougall is the strong type of rider she needs to get her over the line in the concluding stages.
Gets the ideal run in transit from the inside barrier and brings in the best-rated racing form of any horse in this event.
Suggested Bet: Shoal Bay win at $2.25
Suggest Exotic: Exacta 11 & 1
kilmore race 6
#2 brazen bully
This race looks far easier than what he contested when resuming from a spell.
He got way too far back from a very wide barrier at Sandown and was the widest runner upon straightening.
He hit the line nicely and can use that sharp sprint to great effect here by settling much closer to the leaders in a small field.
Expecting him to settle a length or two ahead of his main rival Perseids and that should prove the difference in this event
Suggested Bet: Brazen Bully win at $2.6
Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 1, 2, 6
kilmore race 8
#7 sacred legacy
Returns to scene of her second career win.
This four year old mare has a liking to the Kilmore with her only start her being a strong victory over 1200 metres.
She now has to contend with the mile for the first time, but her two resuming runs have given us the indication she is needing to stretch out and find a spot closer to the speed against slower horses.
She ran respectfully behind Karolina Bay and Invincible Bay at her two most recent starts over 1200 metres and 1400 metres when settling back and running on.
Dropping back to country level looks ideal and she can easily bounce back into winning ways.
Suggested Bet: Sacred Legacy win at $4.6
Suggested Exotic: Boxed First Four – 2, 4, 7, 8
