All the best bets and tips for the 12-race card of greyhound racing from Sandown Park on Thursday night.

We head to Sandown Park for a 12-race card ahead of Thursday night greyhound racing.

The BetDeluxe team has hunted down all the value and best bets on the program.

sandown park race 1

#6 Levitation

Steering well clear of the favourite and siding with Levitation.

She has been jumping well from wide boxes in her last few runs and that is something the favourite has not been doing.

If she was to repeat her effort from two starts back she could very well be unbeatable in this race.

The only dog likely to hold her out from nailing down the lead before the first turn is the five drawn next door her.

Even if that happens, she can follow Flight Risk across, get in front of Zambora Charlie and then use her superior fitness levels over this distance to outgun Flight Risk late in the race.

She could very well start the favourite if the money keeps coming for her.

Suggested Bet: Levitation win at $3.7

Suggested Exotic: Quinella 1 & 6

sandown park race 2

#2 Here comes the pie

Des Douch could have a freak chaser in his stable when prepares Here Comes The Pie for this 515-metre at Sandown.

This dog has continually stepped up to the plate and belted it out of the park in his last three efforts to win three races in a row.

It was his most recent start – his first over 515 metres – that really stamped his claims as a gun dog when outgunning Zippy Audi only four days ago.

He ran a super time of 29.77 given how inexperienced he is and we can only expect a better time in this race with a clear passage given how much stronger he will now be for having the run over the 515-metre distance.

Declaring him as the best of the night.

Suggested Bet: Here Comes The Pie win at $2.35

Sandown park race 6

#1 orca

Want to be with the dog who has the bets chance of getting a clear run in this race and that is Orca.

He draws box one and has the best early speed of this lot, which will allow him to hopefully take an unchallenged heading into the first bend.

His last few efforts seem to be building blocks for a nice platform to a strong race over the 715 metres.

Looking back to his last effort over this distance, he was a very smart all-the-way winner at this track when running 42.11.

Suggested Bet: Orca each-way at $6 the win and $1.8 the place.

Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 1, 6, 7

Sandown park race 10

#7 Propelled

He might be getting on the punters nerves this campaign, but Propelled is now ready to win.

His last two starts have been very strong despite finishing runner up in both.

The dog drawn to his immediate inside in this race should be able to give him a lovely passage across when the lids spring open.

With a trouble-free passage, he can use his huge mid-race surge and finish to run over the top of the leaders.

Love the fact he is drawn wide as well, which will hopefully ensure he is not cluttered up in behind runners throughout the race.

With full momentum heading into the first bend and the back straight, he is the one to beat.

Suggested Bet: Propelled win at $2.30

Suggested Exotic: First Four – 7/ 2/ 6, 8/ 6, 8
