We head to Sandown Park for a 12-race card ahead of Thursday night greyhound racing.
The BetDeluxe team has hunted down all the value and best bets on the program.
sandown park race 1
#5 Speak Up
Going to have an each-way nibble at Speak Up.
He showed great speed to lead all the way in his 30.25 win at The Meadows two starts, which was a preview into what he is capable of when he jumps cleanly.
He struck a bit of trouble last start in a much tougher Heat race than what he faces tonight, but still run on gamely from the rear half of the field to finish fourth.
Regressing to G6/7 level has him right in this race and we are hoping he can cross the favourite drawn in box one.
Suggested Bet: Speak Up each-way at $7.5 the win and $2.6 the place.
Suggested Exotic: Quinella 1 & 5
sandown park race 3
#2 weblec raider
Weblec Raider looks ready to pencil himself in on the winners list again.
Angela Langton has him going along well and he has drawn tough boxes in harder races than the event he pops up in here.
Drawing down towards the inside and next to the odds-on favourite will see him get a beautiful cart into the race as opposed to having to make up ground in between runners.
He will just need a bit of luck in the early stages to get clear running and, if he does he get the early breaks, he will be hard to hold out.
Suggested Bet: Weblec Raider each-way at $5.5 the win and $2.4 the place.
Suggested Exotic: Exacta 2 & 1
Sandown park race 5
#1 Little Tiger
Little Tiger gets the ideal set up to get back into winning ways.
In what was his first run at Sandown Park last start, the Andrea Chapple-trained chaser did too much early work in his fourth-place finish and it told late in the race as he faded away.
Drawing box one looks perfect for him as he can muster through the inside and hold the rail.
Now that he has had the all-important sighter around the track, he can use that experience to his advantage here and prove too strong for his rivals.
Making him the best of the night.
Suggested Bet: Little Tiger win at $2.5
Sandown park race 10
#8 peaky blazer
Another each-way selection on the card, this time in the form of Peaky Blazer.
Box eight is a tiny bit of query, but he has a placing at his only run when drawing the pink rug, which gives us some confidence.
He’s another chaser who comes out a Heat race last start and he was far from disgrace when running fourth behind Tiggerlong Nibel as a $26 chance.
Interestingly, the market rated him a $1.5 chance last time he raced in G5 company, which he does in this race.
We get a great price to find out if he can win stepping back in grade.
Suggested Bet: Peaky Blazer each-way at $7 the win and $1.90 the place.
Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 2, 5, 8
