NBA Tips & Previews, Wednesday 15th December

A triple treat worth of NBA games greet us on Wednesday as the BetDeluxe NBA experts go through the best bets for another day of basketball over in the USA.

We get hump day NBA action underway with the Brooklyn Nets taking on the Toronto Raptors, while Warriors and Suns also take to the court in seperate fixtures.

The BetDeluxe NBA experts have all the best bets in the previews for the triple-header of games.

Toronto @ Brooklyn

december 15th 11:30am

Brooklyn looks to hold its swagger atop of the Eastern Conference when it meets fellow conference rival Toronto at Barclays Center.

The Nets are coming off two consecutive victories since their shock loss to Houston and have welcomed back Kevin Durant since his one-match break to freshen up his legs.

It seemed to have the world of good to the scoring machine that is Durant as he piled on 51 points in the win over Detroit which followed up his 31-point effort against Atlanta.

The Raptors know they need to somehow to stop Durant if they are any chance of winning contest.

That is easier said than done with the form he is in.

Suggested Bets: Brooklyn Nets -8.5 at $1.90

golden state @ new york

december 15th 11:30am

After pinching victory against Indiana on Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors trek over to Madison Square Garden for a contest against the New York Knicks.

The Warriors were not as reliant on Stephen Curry as they usually are in the 102-100 win against the Pacers with the champion point guard only needing 26 points to help his team get the ‘W.’

New York, however, was simply no match for last year’s NBA champion Milwaukee and have slumped to 12th in the Eastern Conference.

With a 3-7 record in its last ten games as well looking well off in offence against the best teams in the league, the Knicks will all but likely struggle to keep tabs on the Warriors.

Curry also has the added motivation of becoming the greatest three-point shooter the game has seen.

He only needs three more three-pointers to overtake Ray Allen as the all-time three-point scorer in NBA history.

Suggested Bet: Golden State Warriors -3.5 at $1.90

Phoenix @ Portland

december 15th 2:00pm

Phoenix plays on the quick back-up when it treks over to Oregon to take on the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center.

The Suns currently hold top spot in the Western Conference with a wish whisker between them and the Warriors.

A win for the Suns is a must if they wish to keep the Warriors at arms lengths.

The Trail Blazers, meanwhile, have been horrendous in their last five outings.

Defensive lapses have led to a five-game losing slump and that will need to turn around quickly if they wish to challenge for the playoffs.

There might be an opportunity for the Trail Blazers to pinch this game with the Suns missing Booker, but that would really be the on the factor leaning us towards them the moment; not their form.

Suggested Bet: Phoenix Suns -2.5 at $1.91
