Moonee Valley Tips & Previews, Friday 3rd December

The Moonee Valley night racing season trundles along and so do the best bets from the BetDeluxe team.

Back to Moonee Valley we go for another Friday night card on the racing calendar.

A filly in race two has caught the eye and looks set to break her maiden, while race seven has provided us with some good each-way value.

Moonee valley race 2

#10 indy rose warrior

Indy Rose Warrior looks ready to peak into her second-up run in what is her second campaign.

She had her first ever run over 1200 metres after a 1000-metre debut last preparation and did a great job to only be beaten by narrow margin.

The speed map really opens up for her here with the lead up for grabs and given the early toe she showed a fortnight back, she can easily find the front and control the race.

Big jockey change with go-to rider Daniel Moor hopping aboard to give this three-year-old filly every conceivable chance of winning.

Suggested Bet: Indy Rose Warrior win at $3.3

moonee valley race 3

#1 riotous mischief

Riotous Mischief has strung together three wins in a row at her three runs this campaign and brings in great momentum to this race.

Nifty trainer Andrew Bobbin has got this six-year-old mare racing in arguably career-best form and this race looks the ideal scenario to make it four wins on the bounce.

Josh Richards has been booked to ride and his 3kg-claim will ensure the mare only has to carry 58.5kgs rather than the allotted 61.5kgs.

Should be a beautiful midfield run with cover and have all the energy for late in the race to swallow up the leaders and win.

Suggested Bet: Riotous Mischief win at $3.4

Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 1, 3, 9

MOonee Valley race 6

#15 dance of thunder

Dance of Thunder has been screaming out for a rise a distance and he finally gets that situation this 1500-metre affair.

The Lindsey Smith-trained galloper has had his last two starts over 1400 metres and has looked slightly dour in both of those runs when off the bit and chasing from a long way out.

Think the slower tempo predicted here with the elevation towards the mile should see him settle closer in the run than he has in previous outings.

Matthew Cartwright will need to be proactive from the inside barrier as to ensure the horse has momentum around the tight Moonee Valley course.

Hoping he can angle away from the rails and make his run at the 300-metre mark with an unimpeded sprint to the finish line.

Suggested Bet: Dance of Thunder each-way at $8 the win and $2.5 the place.

Suggested Exotic: Boxed First Four – 1, 6, 11, 15

moonee valley race 8

#12 universal lady

Universal Lady has come up a good each-way price in this race.

Her effort over 1200 metres last start was quite solid and showed us that she is starting to become strong and fit enough to get away from the 1000-metre dashes she has contested in throughout the majority of her career.

She chased hard behind a smart winner at Donald last start to finish runner-up in BM-64 grade after a four-week freshen up.

The speed map looks ideal for her here as she can get that perfect Moonee Valley stalking run one-pair behind the leaders and she can save her dash for the home straight.

Suggested Bet: Universal Lady each-way at $9 the win and $2.8 the place

Suggested Exotic: Quinella 9 & 12
