Kyneton Tips & Previews, Monday 29th November

Kyneton takes us into the beginning of another racing week with our team finding all the value and best bets on the eight-race card.

It’s an eight-race card from Kyneton that greets us for the start of the racing week.

With plenty of value spread throughout the program, our team has honed in on a few maidens and the bookends of the quaddie for the best bets.

kyneton race 1

#12 uptown lucy

Has won all her jump outs to date and now finally makes her race debut.

Greg Osbourne has clearly taken his time to get this three-year-old filly ready for the races and she looks to have put her best foot forward after winning her most recent jump out at Ballarat.

From what we have seen, she has good early gate speed which can take her into the lead as it did in the jump out.

The most pleasing part of her effort at Ballarat was the ability to continue to keep up a good galloping action past the post and hold her rivals at bay.

Looks to have plenty up her sleeve for the debut on her home track and we are going to make her the best of the day.

Suggested Bet: Uptown Lucy win at $4

kyneton race 3

#4 Missy Longport

Missy Longport has put together two very impressive jump outs in preparation for her race debut over 1450 metres.

She has shown above average speed for a horse of her pedigree at distances which are likely to be short of her best as her career progresses and that is always a good sign.

Her most recent jump out saw the blinkers applied for the first time and she went like a rocket when asked to extend into full stride.

It was clearly the intent of trainer Cindy Alderson to have the horse ridden out in order to get to her race fitness right up to the mark.

Barrier one on debut will give Brian Higgins the chance to find a spot close enough to the lead and then it will be up to him to find the gaps when they angle into the home straight.

Suggested Bet: Missy Longport win at $5

Suggested Exotic: Exacta 4 & 8

kyneton race 5

#3 Age of Infinity

Forget Age of Infinity went around last start when failing on a heavy track in BM-58 grade at Echuca over 2100 metres.

He drops back to 1400 metres in this race which should not be too much of a problem.

The big factor for him to improve is getting back onto a dry track.

He clearly did not handle that wet surface last start and has been given time to recover and freshen up from the run.

Has since had a Flemington jump out to get his legs ticking over for this race and looked solid enough when finishing fourth over 800 metres.

Should run a big race here.

Suggested Bet: Age Of Infinity win at $3.90

Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 1, 3, 7

kyneton race 8

#12 free flying star

Free Flying Star returns to the race for new trainer Patrick Payne.

This mare has not been at the races for six months, but has put in two good jump outs to get herself prepared for a big run.

Payne has taken off all the gear attachments this horse is usually wears which is a sign he has got her going very well back at the stables.

Barrier four presents Damien Thornton with the opportunity to find a midfield spot with cover with this four-year-old mare and hopefully her sprint can prove too good in the concluding stages.

Suggested Bet: Free Flying Star each way at $5 the win and $2 the place.

Suggested Exotic: Quinella 3 & 12
