Moonee Valley Tips & Previews, Friday 26th November

Friday nights mean one thing; racing under the lights of Moonee Valley as the BetDeluxe deliver us with the best bets.

Friday night racing from Moonee Valley takes charge again with an eight-race program.

The BetDeluxe team has rigorously run through the form and found the best bets and value.

The best of the night comes early in the card and should get us off to a good start!

Moonee Valley race 1

#4 Fighting Arrow

Fighting Arrow looks a real stayer on the rise after a very impressive maiden victory at Geelong last start.

The Chris Calthorpe-trained three-year-old gelding plowed away on a soft track in a win that showed us he is ready to step up in grade and distance.

Looking at the speed map, the race looks perfect for him with a barrier four likely to see him land one-off the fence, with a trail and ahead of his main danger Burning Power.

He showed us he has a very nice turn of foot and can use that to his advantage in what looks to be a fairly slowly run race.

His early price has already shortened up, but expect him to start much shorter than the $2.6 currently on offer.

Suggested Bet: Fighting Arrow win at $2.6

Moonee Valley race 3

#1 Guns Ablazing

We were on Guns Ablazing last start and we will back him again here.

He probably found his first run over 2500 metres at only his third run this preparation a bit of a bridge too far last start.

That effort should top him off nicely for this.

Jye Mcneil staying aboard and despite carrying an extra 1.5kgs compared to last start, Gun Ablazing’s position on the map should offset any issues caused by the rise in weight.

Mcneil should be able to roll forward form the wide barrier and find the lead comfortably.

Suggested Bet: Guns Ablazing win at $4.8

Suggested Exotic: Quinella 1 & 2

Moonee valley race 5

#12 Aquapishe

Damien Oliver getting the ride is a big sign this horse is ready to win in town.

The three-year-old gelding sprinted away to win his maiden race with ease at Pakenham and now heads over on the float to tackle this BM-64.

The gelding operation for this horse seems to have done the job and he is going to be perched in behind the leaders getting the perfect energy-conserving run.

All Oliver needs to do is find space at the top of straight and get this horse in clear air.

Suggested Bet: Aquapishe win at $3.1

Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 6, 9, 12

moonee valley race 7

#11 sacred lass

Sacred Lass is now ready to win after having two runs this preparation that will now have her in a good condition.

She resume at Ballarat over 1600 metres then stepped up sharply in distance to 2040 metres at Moonee Valley last start where she was well tried by the punters.

The four-year-old mare ended up finishing third behind two horses who were clearly fitter than her.

She probably still has at least 3-5 lengths of improvement to come this preparation and she can easily make that up here.

Should be a no nonsense operation for 3kg-claimer Madison Lloyd here.

Hoping she can roll to the front from barrier two, find the lead easily and them get them running along towards the back straight.

Suggested Bet: Sacred Lass win at $4.4

Suggested Exotic: Quinella 1 & 11
