NBA Tips & Previews, Tuesday 16th November

NBA tips aplenty as we head into another week of basketball from over in the USA.

The BetDeluxe NBA experts go through all the big games for Tuesday basketball.

The best bets and same game multis for the best game are ready to go.

Sacramento @ Detroit

November 16th 11:00am

Little Caesars Arena hosts Detroit and Sacramento for a bottom-of-the-table showdown on Tuesday morning.

Sacramento will be on the hunt to put a halt to a spiraling four-game slide that has it sitting 5-8, while Detroit is fresh off of winning for the second time in three games as it improved to 3-9 through its opening 12 games.

The Kings hold slight favouritism in this contest, but the Pistons are starting to gain some confidence led by last year’s draft class with Isaiah Stewart and Killian Haye who are both looking at home in the NBA in recent fixtures.

The Pistons can definitely pinch this game with the Kings playing the third of their four-game road trip and looking a bit jaded.

Suggested Bet: Detroit Pistons +4.5 at $1.91

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Detroit Pistons +4.5
Leg 2: Total points under 212.5
Combined odds = $3.80

Boston @ Cleveland

November 16th 11:00am

Boston returns to Quicken Loans Arena for its second clash against the Cavaliers in as many days.

The Celtics are looking to bounce back in this second fixture after suffering a narrow loss against the Cavaliers on Sunday in which Darius Garland post 22 points, six assists and four rebounds.

The Cavaliers stormed back from a 19-point deficit to take its ninth win of the season and perch itself in fourth spot in the East.

Boston will continue to be without prolific scorer Jaylen Brown who is recovering from a hamstring injury.

There is no reason the Cavs cannot take the victory again considering they started the -1.0 favourite on Sunday and now come up the underdogs.

Suggested Bet: Cleveland head to head at $2.18

Miami @ oklahoma

november 16th 12:00pm

The young and vibrant Oklahoma City Thunder welcomes Miami Heat to Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday afternoon.

The Thunder currently sit at 5-7 after being well handled by Brooklyn in their most recent fixture and now face another stern test against a Heat team that is fresh off a 111-105 win over Utah.

Josh Giddey has handled the pressure at Oklahoma like water off a ducks back averaging 9.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in only his first year.

However, Miami has started to resemble the team that nearly went all the way two season ago and will make this a big challenge for the Thunder.

Jimmy Butler is looking strong despite rolling his ankle against the Lakers a few days ago, but the Heat have been able to deal with his omission.

If he is to return in this game, the Thunder will have their work cut out for them.

Suggested Bet: Miami heat -9.5 at $1.90

Phoenix @ Minnesota

november 16th 12:00pm

After being well humbled by the Clippers, Minnesota looks to bounce back when it hosts Phoenix at Target Centre on Tuesday afternoon in a big Western Conference clash.

The Timberwolves did the number over the Lakers but could not handle the Clippers yesterday despite a 21-point display by Anthony Edwards.

Phoenix, however, took its overall record to 9-3 after thumping the hapless Houston Rockets to the tune of 26 points thanks to a big display by the ever-improving Devin Booker.

The Suns have been very strong against the spread this season with an 8-4 record which includes and unblemished 3-0 record when starting as an away favourite which they do here.

Suggested Bet: Phoenix Suns -2.5 at $1.90
