Greyhound racing returns to The Meadows on Saturday night.

Very keen on Demon Flyer here after he ran cracker at The Meadows over 525 metres last week.
It was his first ever try at the distance and he did a great job to lead for a long way only to be nabbed late in the race by a fitter dog.
He started shortest in that lead-up event and the run will do him the world of good from a fitness perspective.
Should tighten him up that extra two to three lengths he needs to be winning this event.
Suggested Bet: Demon Flyer each-way at $5.5 the win and $1.80 the place.

#1 Quebec Bale
Quebec Bale has been on the drift since the markets opened and looks a nice bet now at the $3.10 quote.
He is a mad railer and needs the inside draw which he gets here.
He races on the three-day back up after drawing poorly at Ballarat, but still doing a good job to run fifth despite being out deep on the course in the early part of the race.
Expect him to hunt through the inside, find the front in the middle stages and power to victory.

Sandown Park Race 5
#4 Americano Miss
Andrea Dailly’s chaser Americano Miss looks well placed to run a nice each-way race.
The two-year-old bitch recorded a very sharp 30.06 victory here a few starts ago that would be super competitive in this race.
There does not look to be too much early speed in this race, so she can get a nice trail across from the middle box and run a good race should she find clear air early on.
We can have an each-way bet at the price given we get better than even money for her to run a place which is very appetising.
Suggested Bet: Americano Miss each-way at $8 the win and $2.10 the place.

#3 Jarick bale
Jarick Bale has a superb mid-race speed capable of blowing this field away.
The beauty about this race for him is the dog drawn his immediate lacks early speed, so he can easily tag the back of the cherry dog and follow him into the race.
Looks as though this field will string out early which will allow Jarick Bale to use his blistering mid-race burst to full effect by taking over in the back straight and careering away to victory.
If he get a trouble-free passage, keep a keen eye on the clock.

Auspicious Queen sparkled her way to victory here at The Meadows over 525 metres last week and returns to the scene of the crime.
She ran a blistering 29.83 to win by just over two lengths and will be looking to do something similar here from an identical draw.
Her main rival in Barooga Smoke draws awkwardly in box five, so if she can get the leap on her early and find the front, then we can almost be rest assured she will hold off the finishing burst of the current favourite.
Our selection has a very sharp record at The Meadows with seven starts representing four wins.
Backing her to win here and we can play a nice quinella with the favourite as well.
