NBA Tips & Previews, Saturday 13th November

We head into another big weekend of NBA fixtures from the USA as the BetDeluxe team of experts go through the best bets and same game multis.

The weekend of NBA action has arrived and it all tips off with Charlotte meeting New York.

The BetDeluxe NBA experts have gone through the best bets for all the big games this weekend.

New York @ Charlotte

November 13th 11:00am

Eastern Conference rivals do battle when the seventh placed New York Knicks travel to the Spectrum Centre to play the 10th placed Charlotte Hornets.

The Knicks are looking to bounce back after a loss to Milwaukee on Wednesday which saw star big man Julius Randle well held, while the Hornets will attempt to build of their 118-108 win over Memphis.

The Knicks might just hold a slight advantage here with a better points differential compared to the Hornets (13th vs. 21st).

But the Hornets will be relying on the form of Kelly Oubre Jr. who joined in the shooting party with Terry Rozier, Lamelo and Gordon Hawyard.

Real flip of the coin, but the Hornets at home look the value.

Suggested Bet: Charlotte Hornets +1.5 at $1.95

detroit @ cleveland

November 13th 11:30am

A Saturday morning NBA battle ensues between the rebuilding Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers from the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

The Pistons come into this encounter with the momentum of their second win of the season following a huge 62-point second-half against Houston.

The Cavaliers, meanwhile, are looking to return to form in the blink of an eye after a tight loss against the in-form Wizards on Thursday.

Cleveland has surprised many this season with its 7-5 record and rank top 10 in shooting efficiency from the field.

The problem, now, is how they deal without gun scorer Collin Sexton.

While the Cavs should have enough in their offensive armoury to hold off the Pistons, Cade Cunningham and his partners can cause issues.

Suggested Bet: Detroit Pistons +4.5 at $1.93

Milwaukee @ Boston

november 13th 11:30am

Milwaukee takes the tough road test to TD Garden when it faces the Boston Celtics on Saturday morning.

Sitting in 11th spot of the Eastern Conference, Boston finally put it all together against Toronto to notch up its fifth win over the year and get closer to a positive ledger, while the Bucks overcame the Knicks by 12 points thanks to an all-round team display.

The Bucks look to regain some of that championship-winning mojo they showed last season, but the Celtics will not prove an easy beat in Boston.

Jayson Tatum looked to find his range against the Raptors and might just very well explode for the first time this season.

Both teams rank in near identical places for points scored and conceded this season.

Value is definitely with Boston in this one.

Suggested Bet: Boston head to head at $2.08

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Boston head to head
Leg 2: J. Tatum over 25.5 points
Leg 3: J. Tatum 3+ three-pointers
Combined odds = $3.3

Dallas @ San Antonio

november 13th 12:30pm

A Texas showdown between the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs gets the primetime treatment at the AT&T Center.

After getting back on the winning pathway, the Mavericks had their three-game winning streak snapped on the road by the in-form Chicago Bulls, while the Spurs won a shootout against Sacramento.

The Spurs bench buried 60 points in the win and those rotations are going to be needed against a strong Dallas squad which currently sits fifth in the West.

But this Dallas team isn’t as scary as it used to be.

The offensive efficiency is not consistent enough to rubber stamp the Mavericks in this game, and the team isn’t impressing anyone defensively.

Dallas’ opponents are averaging 47.8 percent shooting against the Dallas when they are the home team, so that bodes well for the Spurs.

Suggested Bet: San Antonio +2.5 at $1.88

minnesota @ la lakers

november 13th 2:30pm

The Minnesota Timberwolves will be desperate to snap a six-game losing streak when they travel to the Staples Centre to take on the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers, on the other hand, will be playing the sixth time in seven games at home, and are looking for a third consecutive victory despite a tough start to the season and being without LeBron James.

Los Angeles edged both Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat in overtime in the previous two, so the Wolves will definitely have a chance to cause an upset here, but the Lakers might just be finding their cohesion with a squad of full of new talent.

Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony and Anthony Davis are all starting to look comfortable on the court together and should be able to get the job done at home again.

Suggested Bet: Los Angeles Lakers -3.5 at $1.92
