FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Previews & Tips, Thursday 11th November

BetDeluxe brings you the best bets from the Socceroos World Cup Qualifier against Saudi Arabia plus a host of other fixtures from around Asia.

Asian FIFA World Cup Qualifiers take precedence with the Socceroos in action against Saudi Arabia in a top of the table clash.

The best bets for across the best games to watch this week.

Australia vs. Saudi Arabia

November 11th 8:10pm

A top of the table clash in Group B of the Asian World Cup Qualifiers comes to pass when Australia meets undefeated Saudi Arabia on Thursday night.

The Socceroos are looking to bounce back after their first defeat of the campaign last month thanks to a 2-1 loss against Japan, while Saudi Arabia is looking to continue its winning form after a 3-2 triumph over China.

Socceroos coach Graham Arnold will be on the front foot fixing the defensive issues that came to fruition against Japan.

Under Arnold, Australia had only conceded two goals leading into the third phase of qualifying as well as being the nation to score the first goal in every game it had played from September 2019 until the loss to Japan last month.

Expecting the Australians to bounce back in a big way on home soil and go equal top of the standings.

Prediction: Australia 2 Saudia Arabia 0

Suggested Bets:
Australia head to head at $1.72

Suggested Same Multi:
Leg 1: Australia head to head
Leg 2: Total goals over 1.5
Leg 3: M. Leckie anytime goalscorer
Combined odds = $4.10

China vs. Oman

November 12th 2:00am

China hosts Oman on Thursday in desperate need of a victory to keep its World Cup 2022 qualification hopes alive after collecting just three points from its opening four group games.

Oman, meanwhile, is only three points to the good of its opponent, and as a result, it is currently perched in the playoff place of the Group.

China’s hopes of qualifying for its second World Cup finals are fading, but a win on Thursday could spark its qualification hopes.

A 3-2 loss away to Saudi Arabia, with goals from
Luo Guofo and Wu Xi, was not enough to prevent China from falling to defeat and put it in the precarious spot it currently sits in.

The defence has been an issue for China, demonstrated by the nine goals it has conceded in its four group games.

Prediction: China 2 Oman 2

Suggested Bet: Draw at $3.2

Iraq vs. Syria

NOvember 12th 4:00am

Iraq comes up against Syria with both nations in dire need for a victory should they wish to qualify through this stage of the FIFA World Cup.

Both teams are looking for their first win of the qualifiers with Iraq stuck on three points, while Syria has only managed a point from its opening four fixtures.

Iraq has managed to qualify for a world cup once before back in 1996, but will need plenty of luck on its side as it currently sits five points adrift of the top two automatic qualification spots, although they are only two points behind Lebanon, who occupy the playoff place.

The last five meetings between Iraq and Syria have ended in draws and it is hard to see anything changing with both teams set to fight tooth and nail for every blade of grass on the pitch.

Prediction: Iraq 1 Syria 1

Suggested Bet: Draw at $3.10
Total goals scored over 1.5 at $1.53
