The best bets from BetDeluxe ahead of VRC Oaks Day at Flemington.

The BetDeluxe team gets set for VRC Oaks Day from Flemington.

Here are the best bets ahead of Group 1 racing and do not forgot to check out of runner-by-runner guide of the Oaks by clicking this link.

Flemington Race 2

#3 Zing

The market has kept Sirileo Miss and Foxy Frida very safe, but we will side with Zing who brings completely different into this event.

She raced in BM-78 grade after two months away from the track and hit the line very nicely from well back in the field to suggest she is ready to fire at Flemington.

The five-year-old mare will not be as far off the leaders as she was at Randwick and should be within striking distance at the point of the home corner.

Big jockey change with star hoop James McDonald taking the reigns which give us more confidence she is the one to beat.

Suggested Bet: Zing win at $3.9

Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 1, 2, 3

Flemington race 3

#17 Satin Love

Big fan of what Satin Love has shown at her two jump outs to date.

She won a Balnarring jump out over 750 metres when settling well under a nice hold and then extending under very minimal riding to win by a narrow margin.

It was her second jump out, though, that really caught the eye as she strode up to her opposition was given a squeeze and then asked to settle back under the bridle.

She looks to explode on debut and we can have a nice each-way bet at the current price.

Looks to possess a really good turn of speed which is needed in these straight races and her professionalism to keep a straight running line when being ridden is another green tick.

Suggested Bet: Satin Love each-way at $6.5 the win and $2.40 the place.

Suggested Exotic: Quinella 3 & 17

Flemington race 6

#8 Malkovich

Malkovich has found the perfect race to get back into winning ways.

The four-year-old sprinter was a big drifter when resuming at Caulfield over 1000 metres and arguably should have beaten Oxley Road if not Damian Lane had not dropped his whip.

He is undefeated at his two career second-up runs, so we can expect a big elevation on what he at Caulfield into this race.

Anywhere between the predicted one or two length of improvement he should gain from a fitness point of view will render him well in advance of anything in this field.

The one to beat.

Suggested Bet: Malkovich win at $2.50

Suggested Exotic: Trifecta – 8/ 10, 15/ 10, 11, 15

flemington race 8

#4 Biscayne Bay

Biscayne Bay is ready to fire heading into the Oaks.

The blinkers go on in order for her to find a new level heading into her first Group 1.

She was hitting the line like a proper staying filly in the Ethereal Stakes with her last 100 metres being her best work in what was a crawling tempo that suited the horses up on the speed.

Making the rise from 1400 metres to 2000 metres might was probably a touch to sharp of a rise in distance to be at her best but the run will definitely bring her on for this race.

The Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace stable are in brilliant form at the moment and this filly is drawn to the perfect trailing run from barrier three.

Suggested Bet: Biscayne Bay each-way at $6 the win and $2.15 the place.
