In the blink of an eye we are a month into the NFL season.
The Bet Deluxe team wonders over the best bets and same game multis for a huge fourth week.
Will Matt Stafford continue his impressive start to the season with the Rams?
Will Dallas put itself on the map as a genuine playoffs contender?
Cincinatti vs. Jacksonville
1st October 10:20am
Cincinatti enter this game against Jacksonville as the overwhelming -7.5 favourite with Bet Deluxe and it is with valid reason.
The Bengals boast a defence in fantastic form at the moment and capped off a solid performance against Pittsburgh with a 24-10 victory.
The Jaguars, however, are yet to put a win on the board and travelling away from home against an in-form Bengals looks an uphill battle.
Suggested Bet: Bengals -7.5 at $1.92
Miami vs. Indianpolis
4th October 5:00am
A genuine must-win game for both the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts ensues on Monday morning.
The Dolphins sit at 1-2, while the Colts are yet to find a win through their first three weeks.
It is safe to say the Dolphins have shown the better form of the two teams this season after running the undefeated Las Vegas Raiders to overtime last week only to be beaten 31-28.
The Colts are on struggle street at the moment and if the Dolphins are serious about becoming an improved team then they should really be winning this.
Suggested Bet: Miami Dolphins -1.5 at $1.85
Atlanta vs. Washington
4th October 5:00am
The market is slightly favouring Washington when it faces the Atlanta Hawks in week four.
The Football Team was well humbled by a genuine Super Bowl hope in Buffalo last week, but now face a Hawks team who is struggling on defence.
Atalanta’s form has looked hollow this season meaning we will side Washington.
Suggested Bet: Washington head to head at $1.82
Dallas vs. Carolina
4th October 5:00am
Dak Prescott will attempt continue his terrific early season form with the Dallas Cowboys when they play Carolina in a bid to remain on top of the NFC East.
The Panthers will be no easy beat and boast a 3-0 run to the start year after wins against New York Jets, New Orleans saints and most recently a 24-9 win over Houston.
It will be intriguing to see how ‘America’s Team’ deal with having less time to rest up than the Panthers, but they deserve to be marked the favourites on what they have shown purely from an offensive point of view.
Suggested Bet: Dallas Cowboys -3.5 at $1.81
Chicago vs. Detroit
4th October 5:00am
Two embattled franchises go head to head when Chicago Bears meet Detroit Lions.
The Lions, albeit in rebuild and development mode, gave Baltimore a massive scare in week three in a game that showed they can offer some resistance in defence.
It is that defence that might be able to clamp on a Bears offence that has only managed only 13 points per game on the scoresheet this season.
Suggested Bet: Detroit Lions +2.5 at $1.86
Buffalo vs. Houston
4th October 5:00am
Buffalo charges into week four with the momentum of back-to-back wins when it faces the struggling Houston Texans.
The Bills put behind a poor start to the year with a huge victories against Miami and more recently Washington as Josh Allen found his mojo.
Allen threw for 358 yard and four touchdowns in the 43-21 win over Washington as he, like his team, looks to build towards the playoffs.
Tough to see the Texans defensive line holding out Allen and the Bills.
Suggested Bet: Buffalo Bills -12.5 at $1.85
Minnesota vs. Cleveland
4th October 5:00am
One of the tightest contests in week four gets underway when Minnesota and Cleveland greet each other at US Bank Stadium.
The Vikings need to find a way to turn their good form into wins with a 1-2 record not doing justice to how well they are going.
Cleveland, too, is travelling sweetly and might just have been 3-0 heading into this game if not for a Patrick Mahomes masterclass in week one.
Taking a very slight lean to the traveling Browns.
Suggested Bet: Cleveland head to head at $1.74
New Orleans vs. New York Giants
4th October 5:00am
The Saints were extremely impressive in going to Foxborough and defeating the Patriots. Meanwhile, the Giants played an ugly game at home to the Falcons.
With everything the Saints have been through in the past month, combined with the emotion of this being a homecoming game, they should comfortably handle the Giants.
Suggested Bet: New Orleans -7.5 at $1.92
Philadelphia vs. Kansas City
4th October 5:00am
Kansas will needs to get its act together when it plays Philadelphia.
The Chiefs have looked a shadow of the team that nearly won the Super Bowl last season after an tight season-opening vicory has been followed up by back-to-back losses.
Patrick Mahomes, despite throwing three touchdown passes, threw two intercepts in the loss to the surging Los Angeles Rams.
His form will be critical against a Philadelphia team coming off a big loss against NFC East rival Dallas.
The Chiefs should be able to find form, but the Eagles can cover the line.
Suggested Bet: Philadelphia +7 at $1.89
New York Jets vs. Tennessee
4th october 5.00am
The Titans should be able to romp in with the result here and make it three wins on the bounce to hold top spot in AFC South.
New York Jets, meanwhile, has dished up three losses in the opening three games and has only managed to score 20 points combined with an average losing margin of 16 points.
Suggested Bet: Titans -6.5 at $1.87
Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona
4th october 8.05am
Staring at the possibility of a 4-0 start to the season, Los Angeles Rams will be brimming with confidence heading into this clash against Arizona.
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford went toe to toe with Tom Brady last week and came out on top after his 27/38 pass completion and four touchdown passes helped his side to a 34-24 win over last year’s Super Bowl champions.
Expect the NFC West leader to continue its unblemished start.
Suggested Bet: Los Angeles Rams -4.5 at $1.91
San Francisco vs. Seattle
4th october 8.05am
A gut-wrenching loss against the Packers should be enough to motivate the 49ers when they face Seattle as the -3.5 favourites.
The 49ers should really be 3-0 heading into this one after being on the receiving end of 2020/21 MVP Aaron Rodgers laser arm.
Seattle, like its opponent, is looking to return to winning ways but has looked very shaky on as a defensive unit in the last fortnight.
49ers to cover the spread in this one.
Suggested Bet: San Francisco -3.5 at $1.90
Green Bay vs. Pittsburgh
4th october 8.25am
We might miss out on veteran versus veteran when Green Bay and Pittsburgh do battle.
Aaron Rodgers and his Packers have returned to form, but the Steelers are likely to be without stalwart quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who sustained a pectoral injury.
There was every chance he might have been dropped for the game regardless of injury after going through the first three games of the season with a 63.8% pass completion rating, throwing a handful of intercepts and being on the receiving end of eight sacks.
The talk of him being dropped might just be the little window of opportunity the Packers need to make it 3-1 on the win-loss tally.
Suggested Bet: Green Bay Packers -6.5 at $1.87
denver vs. baltimore
4th october 8.25am
The Broncos have beaten three teams that are a combined 0-9 but have done so in impressive style to second in AFC West.
The Ravens have played three hard-fought games and are battle-tested. It’s also Baltimore’s third road game in four weeks, so this game could game down the fresh legs of the Broncos who remain at home.
Predicting this will be a tight game could ultimately come down to a critical turnover or mistake.
Suggested Bet: Denver Broncos -2.5 at $2.06
new england vs. tampa bay
4th october 12.20pm
The Broncos have beaten
Tom Brady returns to face his old team when the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay travels to Boston for a pivotal clash with the Patriots.
The Buccaneers, who we know will likely hit their stride later in the year, were well handled by the Rams last week to be handed their first loss of the season.
The Patriots are still building and moving on from the Brady era with young quarterback Mac Jones who comes into this game off a shocking four-intercept game in the loss against New Orleans last week.
Brady is going to show what the Patriots have missed for the last year and a bit.
Suggested Bet: Tampa Bay -6.5 at $1.92
la chargers vs. las vegas
5th october 12.15pm
Jon Gruden takes his 3-0 Las Vegas Raiders to Los Angeles for Monday night prime time football.
The Raiders have recorded their best ever start to a season under Gruden after surviving in overtime against Miami last week.
The Chargers are probably the stiffest opposition Gruden is set to face thus far and it will be a true litmus as to what regard they will be held in come the pointy end of the season.
Los Angeles’ form looks to have a bit more depth to it, but the Raiders will certainly make them earn it.
Suggested Bet: Chargers Win at $1.56
