English Premier League Match Week 7 Tips and Previews, Saturday 2nd October

The best bets as we head into Match Week 7 of the Premier League.

The Premier League is back for match week seven.

The best bets for each game across the weekend are in as we prepare for another weekend of top flight football.

Manchester United vs. Everton

October 2nd 9.30pm

Manchester United might have Cristiano Ronaldo and team full of stars, but it is genuinely one of the more untrustworthy teams to bet on at the moment.

A shock 1-0 loss against Aston Villa last week was followed up by a last gasp win in the Champions League.

Everton might just find a way to pinch a result here.

Prediction: Manchester United 2 Everton 2

Suggested Bet: Draw $4.15

Leeds United vs. Watford

october 3rd 12.00am

Still to find a win in the Premier League, this match shapes as a golden opportunity for Leeds to find three points.

Watford has shown great fight since being promoted, but this road trip to Elland Road might prove difficult against a desperate Peacock outfit.

Prediction: Leeds Untied 1 Watford 0

Suggested Bet: Leeds Untied head to head at $1.72

BURNLEY VS. NORWICH CITY

OCTOBER 2RD 12:00am

Burnley has been unlucky not to pluck three points in its recent fixtures against Arsenal and Leicester.

A home game against bottom of the table Norwich City should be the tonic for Sean Dyche to find a win after recently signing a four-year contract extension with the Clarets.

Expect Turf Moor to be buzzing amidst a big win!

Prediction: Burnley 3 Norwich 0

Suggested Bet: Burnley head to head at $1.85

CHELSEA VS. SOUTHAMPTON

OCTOBER 3RD 12:00am

Southampton is on the road in an attempt to cause giant upset when it faces Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Saints defended like the Italians in an international competition when holding Manchester City to a 0-0 draw at the Etihad a fortnight ago and will need to do something akin to that to find a result here.

Think the bet is under 2.5 goals rather than going with a head to head result.

Prediction: Chelsea 1 Southampton 0

Suggested Bet: Total goals scored under 2.5 at $2.01

wolverhampton vs. newcastle

october 3rd 12:00am

Wolverhampton finally got its mojo going when scoring a 1-0 win over Southampton last weekend and hit this home game against Newcastle full of winning momentum.

Bruno Lage has actually had the Wolves playing some stylish football during the season and this game presents the opportunity to get itself out of an early relegation tussle.

With Newcastle yet to record a win this year, the Wolves will be circling them in packs.

Prediction: Wolverhampton 2 Newcastle 1

Suggested Bet: Wolverhampton head to head at $1.65

brighton vs. arsenal

October 3rd 4:30am

Arsenal finds itself on the wave of a dominant 3-1 North London Derby win when it heads to Falmer Stadium to face Brighton & Hove Albion.

With all the pressure being loped on Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, he has responded brilliantly and is in line to be chosen as manager of the month.

But this Brighton team will not die wondering. Garry Potter has his men in sixth spot and playing some of the best football ever seen under his tenure.

Set for a cracking contest, but the Gunners have a new-found energy.

Prediction: Brighton Hove & Albion 0 Arsenal 1

Suggested Bet: Arsenal head to head at $2.45

crystal palace vs. leicester city

october 4th 1:00am

Neither of these teams have made the best of starts to the 2021/22 Premier League season but we’re expecting an action-packed 90-minutes between the pair this weekend.

Crystal Palace currently sits in 15th position and its guests Leicester are only a single point and two places above them in 13th.

It’s another fixture on the calendar that is hard to get a gauge, but one thing that we can bet on is Jamie Vardy to fire in a goal.

He already has five goals next to his name this season which includes two strikes away from home.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 2 Leicester City 2

Suggested Bet: Jamie Vardy anytime goal scorer at $1.80

Tottenham vs. aston villa

october 4th 1:00am

With its tail in between its legs, Tottenham Hotspur heads back home after suffering a 3-1 North London Derby defeat and will need to quickly find form against Aston Villa.

Villa ended a wretched run at Old Trafford with a famous 1-0 victory against Manchester United last weekend and will need to replicate a performance like that to find the result against Spurs.

Tough to tip against Tottenham getting a result at home and it is tough to deem Villa reliable enough to repeat what they did in Manchester United.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1 Aston Villa 1

Suggested Bet: Draw at $3.4

west ham vs. brentford

october 4th 1:00am

West Ham returns to London Stadium fresh off a 2-1 victory against Leeds when it faces the busy Bees from Brentford.

The Bees have made a fantastic start to their league campaign with a host of scalps since being promoted to the top flight.

A 3-3 draw with Liverpool highlighted just how potent this Brentford team is up front and it can trouble West Ham.

Prediction: West Ham 3 Brentford 2

Suggested Bet: Half time both teams to score – Yes at $4.49

liverpool vs. manchester city

october 4th 3:30am

The title race will take another twist when Liverpool hosts Manchester City at Anfield.

The Reds were stopped in their tracks with a 3-3 draw against Brentford last week but remain atop of the Premier League, while City bounced back from a 0-0 draw against Southampton to defeat Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

City has had a brutal fixture in the last week-and-a-half, and even though it could probably field two squads with the amount of depth they have, it will still take its toll.

Liverpool looks well placed to get the win with fresher legs thanks to less travel.

Prediction: Liverpool 2 Manchester City 1

Suggested Bet: Liverpool head at $2.80
