English Premier League Match Week 5 Tips and Previews, Saturday 18th September

The best bets as we head into Match Week 5 of the Premier League.

The best bets for Premier League Match Week 5 make for an interesting read with a host of teams returning from Champions League duty.

A few upsets could be on the cards!

Newcastle United vs. Leeds Untied

September 18th 5:00am

Newcastle might have gone down 4-1 against Manchester United, but looked dangerous for patches of the game and now face a Leeds team fresh off a 3-0 loss to Liverpool.

Surprised to see the Magpies as outsiders in this game.

Home team looks the value here.

Prediction: Newcastle 2 Leeds United

Suggested Bets:  Newcastle head to head at $3

Wolverhampton vs. Brentford

September 18th 9:30pm

The Wolves welcome Brentford to Molineux following a 2-0 victory over Watford last weekend that sealed Bruno Lage’s first Premier League victory as Wolverhampton manager.

This looks a great opportunity for the home team to make two in a row after the Bees were left to deal with a 2-0 loss against Brighton.

Prediction: Wolverhampton 2 Brentford 0

Suggested Bet: Wolverhampton head to head at $1.90

Burnley vs. Arsenal

September 19th 12:00am

Arsenal will look to continue its winning ways when it heads to Turf Moor for a clash against Burnley.

The Clarets will be up for the fight after manager Sean Dyche was given a four-year contract extension for his services to the club.

With Arsenal struggling to score, the Clarets will get a sniff of victory.

Prediction: Burnley 1 Arsenal 1

Suggested Bet: Draw at $3.4

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Both teams to score – YES
Leg 2. P. Aubameyang any time goal
Combined odds = $2.90

Manchester City vs. Southampton

September 19th 12:00am

Could be a case of lambs to the slaughter here when Southampton travels to the Etihad to face the might and power of reigning champion Manchester City.

City was at its brutal best in its midweek Champions League clash and can afford to rest players with such a brilliant squad.

Prediction: Manchester City 3 Southampton 0

Suggested Bet: I Gundogan anytime goal at $2.05

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Both teams to score – NO
Leg 2: Total goals over 2.5
Leg 3: I. Gundogan anytime goal scorer
Combined odds = $4.75

Norwich vs. Watford

September 19th 12:00am

Both Norwich and Watford will likely be fighting out the relegation battle this season.

The Canaries are yet to win a game this season, but a home game against a struggling Watford team might present the right opportunity after almost pinching a result off Arsenal.

Prediction: Norwich 1 Watford 0

Suggested Bet: Norwich head to head at $2.15

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

September 19th 12:00am

Liverpool returns to Anfield after a gut-busting encounter against Milan in a midweek Champions League fixture.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, is brimming with confidence and excitement after a 3-0 drubbing of Tottenham bringing Arsenal champion Patrick Viera his first win as senior coach in the league.

Palace can certainly nab a draw here against a Reds team who might be jaded from the midweek game.

Prediction: Liverpool 1 Crystal Palace 1

Suggested Bet: Draw at $6.5

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Total goals under 2.5
Leg 2: C. Benteke to score anytime
Combined odds = $23

Brighton vs. Leicester

September 19th 11:00pm

Leicester travels to Falmer Stadium for a clash against Brighton.

The Foxes have been a shade unlucky in their most recent outings with a 1-0 loss to City thanks to a dubious penalty and a 2-2 draw against Napoli in the Champions League.

Brighton might just very well prove a tough nut to crack after winning its third game of the year in match week four to sit sixth.

Prediction: Brighton 2 Leicester 1

Suggested Bet: Brighton head to head at $2.65

West Ham vs. Manchester United

September 19th 11:00pm

There will be no love lost between these two old rivals as West Ham greets Manchester United to London Stadium.

The Red Devils will be seeking a to bounce back to form in a big way after a shock loss BSC Young Boys in the Champions League.

United might just be ruthless enough to get over a West Ham team which has hit a stumbling block in the Premier League after a blistering early start.

Prediction: West Ham 1 Manchester United 3

Suggested Bet: Manchester Untied head to head at $1.75

Tottenham vs. Chelsea

September 20th 1:30am

Tottenham was brought crashing back to earth last week after being humbled by Crystal Palace to the tune of a 3-0 defeat and it must now pick up the pieces when it faces an in-form Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel’s men are yet to drop a game this season and will be on the hunt for a Premier League title.

Doubt this Spurs will stand in the way of the Blues here.

Prediction: Tottenham 0 Chelsea 2

Suggested Bet: Chelsea head to head at $1.80

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Chelsea head to head
Leg 2: R. Lukaku anytime scorer
Combined odds = $2.5
