We head into the NRL Semi-Finals this weekend with Manly and Sydney getting us underway.
The Bet Deluxe NRL crew has found the best bets and best same game multi ahead of this Friday night clash.
Manly vs. Sydney
September 17th 7:50pm
Manly will attempt to right the wrongs of its loss to Melbourne Storm last week when it meets Sydney at BB Print Stadium on Friday night.
The Sea Eagles were taught at lesson in how to handle the big stage by the Storm in the first qualifying final as it was handed a 40-12 thumping by the premiership favourite.
Tom Trbojevic was held try-less last week and will be looking to find a way at this Roosters team, who despite a win against Gold Coast in incredible circumstances in their elimination final, look shaky at the back.
The Roosters will have star talent of their own with James Tedesco running and breaking lines from fullback.
Sydney does boast a massive win over Manly this year having despatched the Sea Eagles to the tune of 42 points in Round 1 this year.
But that was a different Manly outfit who was plagued with injury.
With Turbo Tom now in and Rueben Garrick in career-best form, the Sea Eagles are surely the ones to be with.
Suggested Bets: Manly Sea Eagles -10.5 at $1.90
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Manly Sea Eagles -11.5
Leg 2: T. Trbojevic 2+ tries
Combined odds = $5
First try scorer
T. Trbojevic/M/ Ikuvalu
Going to back in Tom Trbojevic to hit the scoreboard early in this game as he looks to bounce back after being well held by a strong Melbourne defence.
The Sea Eagle fullback manage no tries in the 28-point loss in the qualifying final and will be keen to atone against the Roosters.
Matt Ikuvalu is who we will side with from the Sydney perspective.
The Roosters centre scored the first try against Gold Coast last week and he is in good form at the moment after making 21 runs and gaining 170 metres worth of territory.
He will carry plenty of confidence into this game.
Suggested Bet:
Tom Trbojevic first try scorer at $7
M. Ikuvalu first try scorer at $13
total points scored
over 46.5
With perfect, warm conditions set for Friday night in South Mackay, we are supremely confident this game goes over 46.5.
The Round 1 clash between the games reached 50 points and that was without a host of Manly players.
Tom Trbojevic missed the game with a hamstring injury, but has been prolific try-scoring form since and should add more points to score now that he is playing.
Additionally, seven of Manly’s last nine finals matches have gone over the points set.
Suggested Bet: Total points over 46.5 at $1.90
