Expect the young apprentice to bound away to the front and use the fitness this horse has under his built to make this an energy sapping sprint.

#5 Celtic Blast
Think the spell Celtic Blast has had would have done him the world of good.
He had a pipe-opener trial at Gawler of 1000 metres and bolted in quite easily to win by three-and-a-half lengths in a sign he has returned in good order.
His first-up record reads quite well too, having had three starts for two wins when racing fresh.
He has drawn the pole and given his on-pace racing style he should enjoy a perfect sit in behind the leaders.
Surprised to see him double figure odds in such a basic BM-78 event and we can back him each-way to find it he still has the zest for sprinting.
Suggested Bet: Celtic Blast each-way at $11 the win and $3.4 the place.

#13 Jaamint
Not sure what to make of the synthetic victory of Duke of Birmingham and looking for each-way value.
Landed on Jaamint who races on the quick back-up despite being a well beaten force last start.
She did race after having a month off and the seven day back-up here is a sign the stable have her going much better than she was heading into the run last week.
From a speed map perspective, jockey Kayla Crowther should get complete control of the front.
Solid each-way bet.

#13 Ambidazzle
Ambidazzle is going so well this preparation but has been so unlucky at her last three runs.
Every time she has bolted up the leaders she has struck trouble and been held up for runs at vital stages of her races.
She draws barrier two in this race and we are praying to the heavens above that the five-year-old mare can work her way outside of runners to clear air.
Given the small field and solid lead speed, we should see the field string out and leave the Phillp Stokes-trained galloper room to sprint.
