Atlanta @ Philadelphia

June 9th 9:00am

Philadelphia will attempt to level up the series against Atlanta after a shock loss at home in game one of the Eastern Semifinals.

The Hawks, on the back of Trae Young, produced an offensive masterpiece to come away with a resounding 128-124 victory.

Young was spectacular with 35 points and 10 assists as his side held off a late 76ers’ surge to record the four-point win.

The worrying sign for Philadelphia was Joel Embiid scored a game-high 39 points to go with nine rebounds and four assists but it was not enough.

The Hawks gained the edge from three-point territory and it proved the difference in the end.

A 42.6% (20 from 47) conversation rate for the Hawks from beyond the arc compared to that of the 34.5% (10 from 29) converted by the home team.

If the 76ers can improve its perimeter defence, then it will level this series up.

Driving towards the basket is exactly what the 76ers need to continue to exploit having outscored the Hawks 58 points to 40 inside the paint.

Suggested Bet: Philadelphia 76ers -4.5 at $1.91

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Philadelphia 76ers head to head
Leg 2: J. Embiid over 27.5 points
Leg 3: J. Embiid over 7.5 rebounds

Combined odds = $5.5

Los Angeles Clippers @ Utah

June 9th 12:00pm

The heart palpitations in the Los Angeles Clippers base have calmed down after surving a huge scare against Dallas to set up this Semifinal series with Utah.

It took all seven games for the Clippers to prevail against the Mavericks as Kawhi Leonard and co. finally found their range.

Utah, meanwhile, swept aside Memphis with a 4-1 series win which was capped off by a 126-110 win in game five last Thursday.

The key for the Clippers will be stopping Donovan Mitchell who launched home 30 points, threw 10 assists and hauled in six rebounds in the 16-point rout of Memphis.

What may prove pivotal in this series is the recoup period granted to the Jazz.

Utah are fresh off a five-day spell whereas the Clippers have had to battle their way through a seven-game slog and only have two nights to recover.

Paul George believes his are ready for war, but the Jazz are well versed for this.

Suggested Bet: Utah Jazz -3.5 at $1.92

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Utah Jazz head to head
Leg 2: D. Mitchell over 26.5 points
Leg 3: D. Mitchell over 3.5 assists
Leg 4: Total points scored over 219.5
