NBA Playoffs Tips & Previews, Friday 4th June

Tips, Previews and all you need for Friday's NBA playoff fixtures.

The Lakers and Suns do battle as do the Trail Blazers and Nuggets.

Tips, previews and best bets for each game are ready to be slam dunked as we head into a big weekend of NBA playoffs action.

Denver @ Portland

June 4th 10:00am

After one of the greatest playoff performances in recent memory, Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers try to keep their season alive in Game 6 against the Denver Nuggets.

The first order of business is putting the heartbreaking loss in game five in the rearview.

Portland squandered a legendary 55-point performance from Lillard and potentially doomed its playoff chances.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets and star center Nikola Jokic are one win away from advancing to the next round.

Jokic almost recorded another triple-double in the 147-140 shootout victory.

His 38-points, 11 rebounds and nine assists was enough to match Lillard’s effort and get the Nuggets into prime position to progress.

But the Trail Blazers will leave no stone unturned even if Lillard feels deflated after his heroics still could not get the win.

This epic series should go to game seven.

Suggested Bet: Portland Trail Blazers -4.5 at $1.92

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Portland Trail Blazers -4.5
Leg 2: Total points scored 227.5
Leg 3: D. Lillard over 31.5 points
Combined odds = $4.2

Phoenix @ Los Angeles Lakers

June 4th 12:30pm

Phoenix have the chance to knock the reigning 2020 champion Los Angeles Lakers out of the playoffs when they meet at the Staples Centre today.

The Suns took a 3-2 lead in the seven-game series after smashing the Lakers with an 115-85 shellacking on Wednesday.

Los Angeles looked lost for answers without Anthony Davis after the big man succumbed to a groin injury in game four.

His absence hurt a Lakers squad who struggled to not only contain the Suns but also failed to spark any creativity on offence.

Devin Booker showed the NBA why he is the one of the best young prospects in the league with 30 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the game five win.

Davis might be on the team sheet for game six with the Lakers’ medico team suggesting the injury was healing quickly.

If he is, we can back the Lakers with supreme confidence to bounce back.

LeBron James and co have been there before and do it all. They know how to deal with the pressure.

Suggested Bet: Los Angeles Lakers -1.5 at $1.86

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Los Angeles Lakers head to head
Leg 2: L. James over 27.5 points
Leg 3: Total point scored over 207.5
Combined odds = $4.10
