Greyhound Racing Tips

Thursday Greyhound Tips & Previews, 3rd June

Tips and previews from the big Thursday night cards at Albion Park and Sandown Park.

Albion Park and Sandown Park host Thursday night greyhound racing.

The best bets from both venues are in with plenty of value to be found.

Sandown Park Race 2

#2 Family Trust

Family Trust finally gets a race shape that will suit her and ensure she runs to her best.

She has drawn squeeze boxes at her last handful of starts and when she did draw to be out of trouble she dashed to the front and won easily.

Drawing an inside box for her in this race is perfect with very little pace drawn on her inside.

That will see her be the first dog to find the rail and if she finds the front she is going to be hard to beat.

We get the luxury of being able to back her each-way at a nice price.

Suggested Bet: Family Trust at $6 the win and $1.75 the place.

Suggested Exotic: Trifecta – 2, 7/ 2, 6, 7/ 2, 6, 7

Sandown Park race 8

#1 Aratuza bale

Aratuza Bale usually acquits herself quite well from box one boasting fours wins and three minor placings from the cherry rug.

She has never won a race at Sandown from four attempts but gets the best chance to do so in this race given her last start effort.

After drawing box eight, she gave herself a rough time of it and was out the back the whole time at The Meadows.

She did a good job to keep fighting away despite only finishing fifth of eight runners.

If we look back to her last win, which was on May 1 over 600 metres at The Meadows, it was run in 34.36.

That time is good enough to win a race like this.

All this two-year-old bitch needs to do is jump cleanly from the inside box.

If that occurs they will struggle to catch her.

Suggested Bet: Aratuza Bale win at $3.8

Sandown Park Race 10

#2 Gypsy Wong

Putting it on the line here and taking on the odds-on favourite How Not Too and siding with Gypsy Wong.

Her last start victory at this track and distance was that of a very serious greyhound.

After settling in the rear half of the field when the lids pinged open, she absolutely launched home to win.

She busted the clock with a dazzling 29.77 and ensured her undefeated record from box two stayed intact.

Another dog Andrea Dailly has under her guidance that is a potential megastar in the chasing scene.

Suggested Bet: Gypsy Wong win at $3.5

Suggested Exotic: Trifecta 2/ 1/ Field

Albion Park Race 8

#8 ZIpping Kyrgios

We have, on paper, what seems to be a match race with Zipping Kyrgios and Lakeview Cruiser dominating the market.

Leaning towards Zipping Kyrgios who has the fitness edge over this rival in this race.

Zipping Kyrgios has been racing consistently well and races here on the six-day back-up.

Lakeview Cruiser resumes here from a 42-day break which might prove his undoing in the later stages of the race.

Zipping Kyrgios to serve us as a winner.

Suggested Bet: Zipping Kyrgios win at $2.5

Suggested Exotic: Exacta 8 & 3

Albion Park Race 9

#1 Vickis Queen

Steering away from the Albion Park form in this race and siding with the NSW chaser.

Vickis Queen brings completely a different form line after a pass mark against one of the best dogs in Victoria.

This task looks much easier than having to try and run down the freak that is Qwara Bale.

Her Wentworth Park form prior the Sandown Park effort was more than credible to be winning a race of this nature.

Do not mind the 21-days in between runs given it was a recipe for success at his most recent career win.

Suggested Bet: Vickis Queen win at $3
