The Celtics would take a bit of confidence from their first-half showing in Game 1.
With scores tied at 57 apiece half way through the third quarter, the Nets’ big three were forced to go to into overdrive to ensure victory.
It might have been a different story for the Celtics if Jayson Tatum found his rhythm.
Tatum only managed 6 field goals from 20 attempts on his way to an underwhelming 22 points and five assists.

Star duo Anthony Davis and LeBron James were well held by a stubborn Suns defence who only allowed the Lakers 76 attempts at the bucket.
Individually, Devin Booker was the shining light in the match with 34 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in his first ever playoff fixture.
The performance from Booker combined with the sting of a loss at home will definitely be a wake up call for the defending champions and expect Davis and James to respond in a big way.

The Mavericks, spurred on by a triple-double from Luka Doncic, manufactured a 113-103 win over the the Clippers on Sunday.
Doncic hauled the Mavericks on his back to record a 31-point, 11-assist and 10-point game to lead his team to an unlikely victory.
Kawhi Leonard tried his heart out for the Clippers but his 26 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals was not enough.
The Clippers were expected to get the job done in game one after starting the point spread with a -5.5 handicap.
Doubt they will throw this one away and expect the defensive clamps to be solely placed on Doncic from a point-scoring perspective.
