NBA Tips and Previews, Tuesday 27th April

Tips, Previews and all you need ahead of Tuesday's NBA action

A plethora of NBA fixtures greet us on Tuesday and that means the BetDeluxe team have ‘dotted the I’s and crossed the T’s’ for the best bets.

Let’s slam dunk some cash into those betting accounts!

Atlanta @ Detroit

April 27th 9:00am

The Atlanta Hawks face a battling Detroit Pistons team on Tuesday morning in the middle of a three-game slide.

It’s been a struggle all season for the Pistons who have only managed to win 18 games from a possible 61 with their season all but over.

Meanwhile, Atalanta will be without Trae Young again who is battling an ankle injury sustained last week.

Despite his omission, the Hawks continued on their merry through the Eastern Conference with a 111-104 win over the Milwaukee Bucks solidifying their place in fifth spot of the conference.

While a match against the Pistons, on face value, seems to be a fait accompli in favour of a Hawks win, the Piston 11-16 record at home will give them some confidence.

The Hawks should be able to keep up their winning record without Young, but a player like Jerami Grant (22.6 points per game) may have something else to say.

Suggested Bet: Detroit Pistons +5.5 point spread at $1.94

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Total Points under 226.5
Leg 2: J. Grant Player Points + Rebounds Over 25
Leg 3: C. Capela Player Points + Assists Over 14
Leg 4: Pistons -3.5
Combined Odds: $4.6

San Antonio @ Washington

April 27th 9:00am

A sixth straight home win is on the cards for the Washington Wizards when it hosts the San Antonio Spurs at Capital One Arena.

The Wizards have piled together a late dash for the playoffs with a 9-1 record in its last 10 fixtures with the most recent victory being a 119-110 result over Cleveland on Sunday.

It was that man Bradley Beal who was up to his old tricks with 33-point performance capping off another winning night at on the parquet for the Wizards.

But the star scorer was left writhing in pain late in the match and may be in doubt for this game after landing heavily and rolling an ankle.

If he does miss, it represents a great chance for the Spurs to make it three wins on the bounce.

The Spurs have already handled the Wizards with a 121-101 victory earlier this season and if Beal misses they can easily repeat those feats.

Suggested Bet: San Antonio Spurs -1.5 point spread at $1.85

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: R. Westbrook Player Points + Assists + Rebounds Over 45
Leg 2: Over 225.5 Points
Leg 3: Spurs -2.5
Combined Odds: $4.6

Phoenix @ New York

April 27th 9:30am

The rampaging New York Knicks have the chance to make it ten consecutive wins when it hosts the Phoenix Suns at Madison Square Garden.

A 120-103 victory over the Toronto Raptors added another winning layer to an already impressive month but now comes the big test against a Suns mob who will be seething after coughing up games to Boston and Brooklyn.

Phoenix, who still have an impressive 41-18 overall record to sit second in the Western Conference, will need to utilise the talents of Devin Booker, averaging 25.1 points per game this season.

Booker will be the main man for the Suns if they are to quell a Knicks team riding on the momentum of Julius Randle who averages 24 points, 10.5 rebounds and six assists per game.

Suggested Bet: Phoenix Suns -1.5 point spread at $1.85

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Suns -1.5
Leg 2: J. Randle under 24.5 points
Leg 3: J. Randle over 7.5 rebounds
Combined odds = $5.25

dallas @ sacramento

Dallas pulled off a huge sweep over the weekend, defeating the Los Angeles Lakers twice with 108-93 and 115-110 wins, while, Sacramento lost to Golden State on Saturday, 117-113.

The Mavericks entered the fourth quarter tied with the Lakers but outscored them 29-14 in the final frame on their way to a 108-93 victory. Dwight Powell led the team with 25 points, hitting 11 of 12 shots and adding nine rebounds.

Dorian Finney-Smith added 21 points with his squad shooting at  The Mavericks shot 48.7% from the field in the victory and a repeat of that against a Kings side, who has only gone 2-8 in the last 10, should see win number 34 notched up for the Mavericks.

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: T. Haliburton 2+ Three Pointers
Leg 2: L. Doncic Points + Rebounds Over 40
