#6 Moral Force
Moral Force showed good improvement at his second career when leading a Pakenham 1400-metre maiden from start to finish.
That run was on April 1 and he looks a horse ready to make the step up to Saturday grade after showing professionalism beyond his years in his first two races.
Loved the way he kept grinding to the line last start which suggests the rise to the mile will be of no concern.
Interesting to note that the pre-race ear muffs go on for the first time so keep an eye out on how he parades.
If he shows that his energy is being conserved in the yard for the race then he will run very well.

Caulfield Race 4
#8 Shandy
After being very well backed to win at Caulfield a fortnight ago, Shandy had zero luck at the most important part of the race.
Jockey Damian Lane attempted to angle her into clear running at the top of the straight, but was kept in behind horses and left with no choice but to dart back to the inferior ground.
By the time she found a gap, the winner, who had pocketed her, was off and gone.
She laboured into sixth spot but now she gets her chance to atone for that luckless effort.
The star of Australian racing Jamie Kah takes the ride and she will get this mare off the inside and into clean air.

Caulfield race 6
#2 Starry legend
John Sadler looks to have a ripper on his hands here in the form of Starry Legend.
His two career wins to date over the 1000 metres have been faultless.
The most recent of those wins was at Bendigo when he pinged to the lead from barrier six and bolted in by just over a length.
He should be afforded a similar position on the map with a lot of his main rivals mapping well behind him in the run.
The Sadler stable is going great guns at the moment and it would be keen to get this victory on the board given it had the heavily backed favourite in this race two years ago.

#11 Paul's Regret
Paul’s Regret has had a nice little freshen up since her last run at Flemington over 1400 metres.
She drops back in distance to 1200 metres in a race which looks to suit her perfectly.
From barrier nine, jockey Declan Bates can take a sit in behind what looks to be a fairly lead speed and then use this mare’s finishing burst to run over the top of the field.
If we look back to her last effort at Caulfield, she produced a barnstorming finish to run second over 1200 metres to Group 1 winning mare Probabeel.
That form line is good enough to be winning a race like this.
