Newcastle Jets vs. Melbourne Victory

April 10th 3:05pm

A bottom of the table clash is set for Saturday afternoon at McDonald Jones Stadium when Melbourne Victory visit the Newcastle Jets.

Grant Brebnar’s tenure at the Victory went from bad to worse after his side were dealt a 3-0 defeat in ‘The Big Blue’ against Sydney FC on Sunday.

If the loss was not enough to deal with, the Victory will be without Elvis Kamsoba who was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.

The story for Newcastle was none the better either after succumbing to its sixth straight defeat courtesy of a 1-0 loss to Western United.

The Jets do have a 1-0 victory over Melbourne this season and that will ensure some confidence heading into this game against a Victory side who have looked horrific all year.

Prediction: Newcastle Jets 1 Melbourne Victory 0

Suggested Bet: Newcastle Jets head to head at $1.75 Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Newcastle Jets head to head
Leg 2: Total goals scored under 2.5
Combined odds = $4.5

Sydney FC vs. Melbourne City

April 10th 5:05pm

Sydney FC welcome Melbourne City to Leichhardt Oval for a 2020 grand final rematch that is sure to have us on the edge of our seat.

Melbourne City rebounded in the best possible style with a 3-2 win over the Wellington Phoenix on Monday after dropping its first game in six fixtures against Western United last Thursday.

A late Marco Tilio strike was the difference in victory against Wellington as moved City into second place on the A-League table.

Meanwhile, Sydney FC managed a 1-0 midweek win over the Perth Glory thanks to a Kosta Barbarouses 54th minute go-ahead goal which was his second goal in as many fixtures.

Melbourne City did the business over Sydney earlier this year with a 3-2 win at AAMI Park but look a bit under the odds.

In a game that is tough to separate two squads full of the best A-League talent, we will stick with a stalemate.

Prediction: Sydney FC 1 Melbourne City

Suggested Bet: Draw at $3.4

Adelaide United vs. Western Sydney Wanderers

April 10th 7:10pm

The Red Army of Adelaide United welcome the Red and Black Army of Western Sydney to Coopers Stadium on Saturday night.

Only a point separates the fifth placed Adelaide and sixth placed Western Sydney with the Wanderers looking to extract vengeance after going down 3-2 to United at home earlier this season.

The Reds has managed six wins in a row until it was inflicted a 2-1 loss by league leader Central Coast last Thursday.

Adelaide do have a couple of games in hand over the Wanderers and most teams in the league for that matter.

A win here would entrench its finals spot and given the Reds got the three points last time they played the Wanderers combined with a homestay in front of their faithful, it should be another winning result.

Prediction: Adelaide United 2 Western Sydney Wanderers 1

Suggested Bet: Adelaide United head to head at $2.15
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Adelaide United head to head
Leg 2: B. Halloran anytime goal scorer
Combined odds = $3.4
